Oh, can they get any dumber? Harrison Ford is an internal affairs agent who gets suspicious when his wife is killed in a plane crash and he finds out that she had lied to him about why she was leaving. What ensues is a ridiculous story of him trying to get answers, along the way he falls for the widow of his wife's lover (Kristen Thomas) and all the while he is also trying to catch a crooked homicidal police officer. Lots of questions remain unanswered. Why did Ford do this loser film? Can worse dialogue be written? Why do they let Sydney Pollack make films and why do they let him put himself in the film? Was Pollack trying to liven up Ford's character with that completely-inconsistent-to-his-character earring? Do yourself a favor- don't bother trying to figure any of these out. |
