THE LOVE LETTER

A sweet, gentle film about complicated relationships in a picturesque New England town (Rockport.) A "La Ronde"-like chain of events that is set off by the sudden appearance of an unsigned love letter. Some very good acting from Kate Capshaw, Tom Selleck, Blythe Danner, and Tom Everett Scott and some very bad "acting" from Ellen DeGeneres.
