Rob Reiner's new comedy takes us inside a marriage falling apart. Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer have been married for 15 years and can't stand each other anymore. While their two children are away at summer camp, the two split up and reflect over their marriage, the times of joy, the years of fighting and their failed attempts to get back to the magic they had in the beginning. The film is a sweet and honest look at how marriages can just fall apart. The writing is decent and Bruce Willis is the whole movie -very good (and very funny) but his character can be a total cheeseball. Pfeiffer, on the other hand, you just want to strangle at times, especially during her awful, rambling soliloquy at the end. Overall, a good movie, but nothing I would rush out to the theater to see.
