A horrifying tale of a modern-day vampire/psychopath, and the woman who loves him. Fine acting by Jude Law, who succeeds in making the "creature" both sympathetic, as well as terrifying. An interesting relationship develops when the Jude Law character saves the detective who is pursuing him, from a band of murderous thugs in the London underground The stylish look of the film (especially the killer's apartment) adds to the overall gothic quality.
