Chapter Twenty Seven
You're On

With an expression of pure content, her finger clicked on the button "Your Message has Been Sent" Annie spoke proudly reading the screen of her laptop.

"What are you doing?" Michael questioned sneaking up behind his sister.

Annie grinned "Handing in my article"

Considering how self involved he was, he didn't bother questioning what it was about. Instead only proceeding to speak of himself
"I can't take this any more" he whispered over to her.

"Can't take what?" Annie queried as she closed her PC.

"Well" Michael began "Laur's a sweet girl, real nice... Too nice"

"You can never be too nice Mike" Annie said sweetly.

He chuckled "I mean too much of a 'good girl'. She doesn't want to do anything." he sighed "Maybe I should just break things off"

"You're going to work things out! You're not messing things up for me!"she answered aggressively

Michael pulled back "Who said anything about you? I ain't gettin' none, and you're telling me not to mess things up for you?"

Annie covered her ears "Eww... I so don't wanna hear about my little brothers sexual frustrations"

Michael laughed "I don't wanna share them with my sister either. Later"

Michael walked over to the bunks. He needed to talk to his girlfriend.
Not that he didn't care for her less than his Mr. Happy did, but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. Pulling open the navy blue curtains, he ignored the look of astonishment on his girlfriend's face and leaped in, his lips smashing in to hers.

Initially, Laurel was surprised, but she soon forgot about it and let him bring her into a frisky make out session. He was a great kisser and she loved the feeling of his tender lips on hers.
She began to feel his hand creep its way up her shirt, and using all her strength, pushed him away.

"What are you doing?" she asked pulling her T back down.

Michael rolled his eyes "Fooling around with my girlfriend"

"Mike..."

"Yeah, I know, you're not ready yet" he said interrupting her with an annoyed tone "But don't you like me?"

"You know I do" she answered quickly.

Michael sighed "Well I think that it's about time for us to explore this relationship, and for it to get anywhere, well..."

He rolled out leaving her hanging
"Well what?" she shouted out after him.

Michael turned back, sticking his head into the bunk
"These lips can do far more than kiss yours" he said suggestively.

She looked into his crystal blue eyes, then turned away, biting her lip
"I'll think about it" she said laying back down to take in a few more minutes of sleep and to be at one with her conscience.

**Meanwhile**

Howie watched Dawn maneuver around the kitchenette reminiscing about last night. They had stayed up for hours watching movies, and were both delighted to find that they had a mutual favorite childhood flic: Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. He sighed. Too bad she was taken.

"So, how are things with your boyfriend?" He asked keeping the same train of thought.

Dawn looked down into her glass. The moment of truce.
"We broke up"

Howie's sleepy eyes suddenly sprung to life. 'yesss' he cheered to himself.
"I'm sorry to hear it" he said politely. He was always the perfect gentleman.

"Oh, no, it's Ok" she shrugged "Things weren't working out."
She took a short pause "It's better this way"

Howie nodded.

"To new possibilities" she said lifting her glass for a toast.

"To new possibilities" Howie repeated with a grin as their glasses chimed together sounding off an optimistic future.

**Later That Day**

"So, are you guys in?" Nick asked after explaining Lyss' concept for her video.

"Yeah, count me in" Brian accepted.

"Me too" Kevin said enthusiastically. Anything that would give him more time with Naila.

"Me three" Howie said raising his hand.

Nick smiled, only one left. "Bone, you in?" he asked.

A.J crossed his arms angrily and gave him a bitter look "No"

Nick ran his fingers through his hair "And why not?" he sighed desperately. A.J always had to complicate things.

"BecauZe" A.J answered arrogantly "I don't want to be anywhere near Alyssa"

"Could you be any more childish?" Kevin commented hopelessly.

A.J stuck his tongue out at him "I can't stand her" he said
"And besides, her idea is way dumb"

"Oh my gosh" Brian teased in a gay voice "It's like, so way dumb!"

"Watch it shorty!" A.J barked back.

"Children, behave" Howie pleaded

"Fuck, A.J, you can be so god damn stubborn" Nick said loosing patience
"I'm not asking you to screw her, it's just a cameo." Seeing that his friend's mind wasn't about to change just yet, he added
"Laurel and I aren't exactly best friends either ya know, but I'm still doing it"

A.J threw his hands up "Fine, fine" he surrendered "As long as you get off my back"

"Thank the lord" Nick sighed walking out of the dressing room to tell Alyssa the good news.

He quickly made his way down the hall to REFLECTION'S dressing room. He flung the door open as he shouted "Lyss, they said that they wo...." he cut himself off in mid sentence. Right before him sat Laurel and Michael, in what seemed to be a very intimate situation.
"Sorry guys" he said trying to hold back his laughter.

Laurels eyes bulged, hastily pulling herself away from her boyfriend.
"What do you want?" she asked standing up, pulling Nick out of the room with her.

Nick peeked over her shoulder. Michael looked like he was going to blow his head off
"Blue balls man" he chuckled.

"What?!" Laurel pressed impatiently crossing her arms over her chest

"I didn't think you had it in you" Nick commented shooting Laurel a playfully gleam. Her hair was a mess.

Laurel's brow pulled together "I don't know what you're talking about, but if you don't have anything to say, then I recommend you leave..." she said pushing him further into the hall "I was kind of in the middle of something"

"Ahah" Nick exclaimed "I knew you didn't. You are still a virgin!"

Laurel froze in her tracks "Excuse me?"

Nick smirked "Aw, it's all right, you're still just a kid anyway. Just feel bad for your boyfriend. The guy has to put up with you, but still doesn't get any"

Laurel's eyes filled with rage "First of all, I'm not a kid" she shot back angrily "Second, my love life doesn't concern you!"

"What love life?" Nick laughed "You wouldn't even have the guts to do anything." With that, he turned around and walked away
"I really don't give a shit about you, or your non-existent sex life. You're just a kid"

"Just a kid" Laurel huffed as his big blond head disappeared. She looked back at Michael, and an idea crossing her mind. She grinned, taking on the challenge. "We'll see who's 'just a kid' "

**Meanwhile**

I'd spent every moment since I'd left the hotel replaying what had happened with Jason in my mind. My own brother hated me. A lump built in my throat at the simple thought of it. Just like in my dream, I'd stabbed myself straight trough the heart. A premonition?... I sighed. This was all my fault. I was being so selfish, but I had no way of changing that now. If my siblings didn't want to have anything to do with me, well then, so be it. I had my life ahead of me, and so did they. I guess we just weren't destined to live it as a family...
I decided to stay in this cheap motel till next morning. If I'd join The Boys earlier than anticipate, it would only arouse suspicion. All I wanted now was to be alone to sort things out for myself.

**Early The Next Morning**

"I'm exhausted" Kristy moaned stumbling out of the tour bus.
It was nearly 3:00 AM, and their buses had just pulled up at the hotel they'd be staying at while in New York.

"Girl, you're not the only one" Alyssa grumbled. She couldn't even feel her legs as they carried her trough the front door.

Laurel rubbed her eyes "Have the others arrived yet?" she asked.

"They're right there" Annie replied groggily pointing at the a very tired bunch of people in the lobby.

A.J breathed in heavily as the others came in
"Oh good, they're here" he said unenthusiastically "Now we can get to bed"

The others followed like zombies, each heading to their own room.

"It's about time" Michael complained as Laurel flipped the lights on in their room "I haven't slept in a real bed since I've met you"

Laurel fidgeted nervously with her plastic bag. She wasn't convinced if she should go for it or not.

"I'm hitting the sack babe" Michael said dropping to the mattress fully dressed "Good night"

"Michael..."

"Yes"

She bit her lip "I was thinking..." she began to pull out the box from her bag "We could, if you wanted"

Michael laughed at how cute she looked "Condoms?"

"Well..." Laurel said impatiently. She needed her answer, and at this point, she didn't care what it was. She'd prove Nick wrong. She'd show him who was 'just a kid'

He shrugged "Laur, it's up to you. Do you think you're ready?"

Laurel sighed and sat down at his side "I think I am" she said placing her head on his shoulder "Are you?"

"Oh yeah" he replied eagerly. He turned to her and kissed her hard on the lips, then pulled away "This is gonna be your first, isn't it?"

"Well, yeah..." she stamered shyly.
"Let's not talk about this" she said irritably "I want to"

"Shoot, you don't have to tell me twice" he said before leaping on her and pushing her flat down on the bed.

He rapidly pulled off his shirt, revealing a very chiseled golden tanned chest. Laurel followed his lead by pulling her tank top off. She found it all quite amusing.
Michael pressed his lips to hers, engulfing them in a passion filled embrace. Overwhelmed by all that was happening, she failed to notice him pulling off her bra and his pants.
She giggled as she felt her jeans being tugged at, the cold touch of his hands giving her goose bumps. Her laughter was soon interrupted as he unexpectedly slid a finger in her delicate folds causing her back to arch.

"Do you want me to stop?" he whispers hoping that she would answer negatively.

All that was happening hit Laurel at that moment. Was all this haste worth proving herself to Nick?
She shut her eyes "Go" she said firmly.

Michael nodded, and removed himself just enough to slip on his shield. He placed himself over her, looking down to her worried face. She had something to say.

"What is it?" He asked sweetly, trying not to make her feel more uncomfortably than she already appeared.

Laurel opened her eyes, took one look at him, and shut them again "Be gentle, Ok?" she requested weakly. She was shaking.

Tenderly, he stroked her cheek before kissing her lips
"I'll be careful" he assured.

Lowering himself gently onto her, he watches as her face and body tensed up. "Am I hurting you?" he asked once he'd fully entered.

She shook her head "I'm Ok"

He waited for her to get used to the new feeling. He wanted her to enjoy this, not regret it. She took a breath "I'm ready" she said quietly.

He began to move within her, slowly, not to hurt her. With each thrust, she learned the way of it, wrapping her legs around his waist, grinding rhythmically against him. His pace quickened as he reached his peak, and then dropped, as did he.
He let himself fall to her side, placing one sweaty arm over his girlfriends nude body, lifting his head to give her one final kiss. "You Ok?" he whispered.

Laurel smiled. Her breathing returned to its regular pace
"Oh yeah"

They both laughed before falling into a deep, blissful sleep.
