Mint Brownies
1-1/4 C all purpose flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
3/4 C sugar
1/2 C butter
2 T water
1-1/2 C mint semi-sweet chocolate chips (10 oz.
pkg)
1 t vanilla extract
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350. Combie flour, baking soda and salt
in small bowl. Combine sugar, water and butter in
medium saucepan. Bring just to a boil, over medium
heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Add 1 cup
chips and vanilla, stir until smooth. Add eggs, one at
a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour
mixture and remaining chips. Spread into greased 9"
square baking pan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until
center is set. Cool (center will sink). Makes about 16
brownies.
