Peanut Butter Pie


2 c peanuts, unsalted, ground coarsely 1/2 stick butter, softened 2-3 T sugar 1/4 c corn syrup 1/2 c peanut butter 4-6 T peanuts, unsalted, chopped 1 qt vanilla ice cream, softened Garnish with chopped m&m's and peanuts
Lightly grease 9" pie plate. Crust: In medium bowl mix ground peanuts, butter and sugar. Press mixture firmly in bottom and up sides of pie plate, refrigerate 15-20 minutes. Filling: In smll bowl mix corn syrup, peanut butter and chopped peanuts. In large bowl, stir ice cream to soften a bit more. Stir in peanut mixture, mix well. Spoon intochilled crust, garnish, cover, freeze, let stand 15 to 20 minutes before cutting into wedges.
