Chili


1 lb ground beef 1/2 c onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 2 cans red kidney beans (14 oz each) 3 cans tomato sauce (8 oz each) 1/4 t black pepper 2 t chili powder
Brown ground beef in heavy saucepan, drain. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes; stirring occasionally.
