Latest Updates

May 8, part 2

I added links on the front page to vote for Wes. I also redid the Biography, and added a picture of Wes at the Oscars in the Live Gallery.

May 8

This is the part of the update where I apologize for not updating for awhile. =-) That thing called Life got in the way again. (No, not the board game.)
Anyway, just as I get a chance to tell you Wes was cast as Lestat in the movie Queen of the Damned, the adaptation of the third book in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicals, well, Wes dropped out. Darn.
In other news, it seems like Kingdom Come is wrapped, and I assume Wes is taking some time off.
Other news:

These updates are courtesy the awesome people on WesObsessed. =-)
I also just added a couple of pictures to the Gallery. One is from the National Enquirer (their Young Hollywood section), and can be found in the Magazine Gallery. The other picture is is a brand spanking new gallery, this one for pics from Soul Survivors. That's right! The first pic from Wes's new flick! Yay!
For more awesome Wes pics, check out this page. It belongs to Dyanna from WesObsessed.
I think that's about it. If I run across anything else, I'll letcha know. Enjoy!

March 27 part 2

Okay, new Forum. This one is slightly more involved, as you must register. But it's free and very easy to use. Hopefully this will solve some of the previous problems on the Message Board. It was pretty entertaining for awhile, but it's really gotten out of hand. I've been wanting to change formats for awhile, but some posts tonight helped me make the final decision.
And please don't write to me about censorship. *sigh* I run a site that is supposed to be friendly, entertaining and informative. All the bickering on the board was too much. If you think I am trying to censor people, that's too bad, because I'm truly not. I'm just trying to keep the place civil.

March 27 part 1

If you are wondering what happened to the Message Board, I took the link down. The whole thing's gotten out of hand, with people posting stupid things, and under other people's (including mine) names. So... I will have a new, improved (hopefully) Message Board up a little later.

March 24

Lots of new pics. Most of them appear in the Magazine Gallery. The awesome Teen Movieline and mysterious "Unknown" are from Cathy. The new InStyle and Who mag pics are from Daniele, as are the two new Articles; one quote from InStyle and the paragraph that goes with the Who pic. The picture credited to "Juice" magazine is actually from a magazine called "B"; an error I plan to change ASAP. That picture came from LJ. The new Time Out pic, fromt he cover of that magazine, is courtesy Thora.Org. Thanks to all of you!
There are also two new Wes pics in the Live Gallery. Those were sent over by Karen, who sent a few others I have yet to post. Thanks to her as well.
I also changed the Filmography a bit. I plan to have seperate pages for each film eventually. They should be up by the end of the month, at least. I also changed the Why Wes? section a little. (I got a new photo program and had a blast messing around with it!)
While on the Filmography subject, I wanted to correct some info that was there before. Serendipity Lane was filmed by Lisa Cole, not Sara Cole. Sorry, Lisa! The corrected info will appear on the SL page as soon as it's up.
Oh, and, Wes is supposed to be a presenter at the Oscars this Sunday, which start at 5PM Pacific Time. Be sure to look for that, and keep your fingers crossed that Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening, Sam Mendes, Alan Ball, and everyone else involved in American Beauty clean up at the ceremony!

March 4

I added one Appearance, which is Entertainment Tonight, this coming Monday. I saw a preview of that show on last night's ET for a segment about thw Young Hollywood edition of Vanity Fair, coming soon to a newsstand near you. I caught a couple of shots of Wes, so be sure to watch the show (check listings for the time.)

February 27

Pictures! Pictures! Check out the pics from the latest Premiere magazine in the Magazine Gallery for those awesome pics (all 7 of them!) Also, in the Misc Gallery, a small pic from EOnline.
I also added a few desktop themes, wallpapers, whatever you'd like to call them. They can be found under the new Desktop Themes gallery. They are all 640X480. Sorry if your monitor is larger or smaller. Eventually, I plan to have a variety of sizes, as well as more interesting themes. These are fairly basic, and they don't leave room for your icons. Sorry about that. I will fix it. Nothing worse than getting a good-looking guy on your monitor and having his face obscured!
That's about it for now. As always, check the message board for the most recent news. =-)

February 20

You may have noticed the new look of the front page. Let me know what you think! Thumbs up? Thumbs down?
Also, many new pictures. Two great ones from Matt. One is in the American Beauty Gallery, and the other is in the Miscellaneous Gallery, until I hear back from Matt as to where he got that awesome pic.
Nikki sent over the scan from the December issue of Jane magazine. That's now in the Magazine Gallery.
"A Wes Fan" sent over an article from USA TODAY. You can find it in the Articles section, where you can also find a link to the Mr.Showbiz profile for Wes.
Also, before I sign off, I wanted to say thank you to Cesca for keeping everyone updated while I was unable to do so. Thanks!
That's all for right now. I have more planned for later. Be sure to check back.

January 28

First order of business - I apologize for the lack of updates. I've been away from home without regular access to a computer. But, if you have been reading the message board, Cesca has been keeping us all updated about Wes! I'll try to pack as much of her info, plus another few interesting things, into this update as I can.
Eonline selected Wes as one of their Sizzlin' 16 2000. You can see the article here.
Mr. Showbiz now has a profile for Wes on their page. You can see it here. They have the basic bio info, as well as links to some of their Wes-related stories. They also link to Wes World, which was a neat surprise.
You can now send Wes a letter! Write to Wes.
The 12th annual Chicago Film Critics Awards included Wes as a nominee for the Most Promising Actor. Ceremonies will be March 13. (Thanks to Cesca for this.) Other nominees are Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein, Haley Joel Osment and Terrence Howard.
The official Kingdom Come website launches February 4th. Be sure to check it out at www.kingdomcomemovie.com.
Wes World has been selected by visitors as one of Asia E!Online's Choice Websites. Thank you very much to anyone who voted. I'll be posting the award on the front page. It is the first award I've won!
I also added some things to the Filmography, and made a regular button link for the Greeting Cards.
In possible casting news, Cesca reports on the message board that Wes may be taking a role in the upcoming film Pearl Harbor, which is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Michael Bay. Wes has also been mentioned as a possible cast member for the upcoming Spider Man project.
And finally, you can read the original American Beauty script at Drew's Script-o-rama.
I have a couple of pictures to post, as well. I hope to have them up later, while I have access to this computer. Keep on the lookout for them! Thanks for visiting.

December 20

Golden Globe nominations are out, and while American Beauty did very well, Wes was overlooked! Mr.Showbiz (http://www.mrshowbiz.com) has a poll on their main page, asking which actor was most overlooked; Wes is listed first. If you get a chance, and want to let everyone know how deserving he was of a nomination, go vote for Wes.

December 17

Be sure to check out the Appearances page - you won't want to miss this one!

December 1

Just a quick update today. I added an Appearance. I have more stuff for later in the week, so be sure to check back!

November 13

It's been too long since my last update - I know! I hope you will find it well worth the wait, however, since I have added three new magazine scans, as well as four article transcriptions in the new Articles section. Check it out!
Also, there's apparently trouble with the greeting cards, but don't worry, I'll figure it out.
Oh, and I updated the Appearances page. Enjoy!

October 26

Added some bio trivia and appearances. Sorry this update is so brief! I will have a few articles posted within the next few days - be sure to look for them!

October 17

Added some more biographical info. Plus, Wes has won a new film role! You can read the story at Mr.Showbiz. I added this info to the Filmography. And, I added a new image gallery. This one is the Autograph Gallery. It contains pics of some Wes autographs. If you have one, please send it in! The two pics there now come from Amazon.Com auctions. You can bid ont he items by going to Amazon.Com or following these links: Wes autographed presskit and Wes autographed poster.

October 14

Added this page so as not to clutter the front page. I also added a new opening image to the front page.
Last night, I added lots more pictures, courtesy Kasey! You can find them in the American Beauty Gallery, as well as the new Miscellaneous Gallery. You can access these Galleries by going to the Main Gallery below.
Also new, Wes appears in the latest issue of Elle magazine. Pictures in Magazine Gallery; info on appearances page; article to come when magazine is no longer available for sale.
And, I've been having trouble with my internet service provider, so if you sent me an email recently, it's not that I haven't responded because I don't like you. =-) I will get back to everyone before the weekend - I promise!
