Random thoughts from 20th Century Fox Mexico Theatrical's Marketing Director.
Entry for January 4, 2008 - Happy New Year!

I'm back from a two weeks vacation, with the sad news that I just discovered my life could be taken out from a Chevy Chase vacation movie. Yep, Clark Griswold? That's me alright. From precariously hanging Christmas lights on the roof of my home while standing on a dangerously unsafe ladder, to leaving my two year old son at the care of an unknown family so I could jump over a fence and rescue his ridiculously expensive Croc Sandal from the waters at Disney's Magic Kingdom river, to almost falling asleep at the wheel of our family SUV while driving from Miami to Orlando to Fort Myers... yep, my life is a Vacation movie... when I'm on vacation, of course. Otherwise I'm Jack Bauer on a chapter of 24!! (yeah, right.)

Anyway, it's good to be back. I was missing the frustration, anger and desire to kill some people I work with. But the job environment made sure to bring all those beautiful feelings back in a jiffy.

I'm going to write a proper new year message to send to my friends before the week is over (and if inspiration strikes at the right time) so I won't go into much detail at this point. Suffice it to say, you ain't read nothing yet!

Have a great 2008!!
