Back from the Dead!

Or from a long time of not writing. I was watching the Academy Awards last night and was thinking that it's funny how sometimes (and not just in the movies but in any other field of expertise) it's the people who don't know how to do things that end up teaching us how to do them differently. I'd go into a lengthy explanation of why that happens, but I think it's self evident when you think about it. If someone asked you to do an impromptu apendectomy, you probably would come up with some wild and crazy ideas that an actual physician would find enlightening... or maybe not. Wrong example. Anyway, you get the idea.

So, anyway, I'm happy about the Oscars, I hate Fox Searchlight for giving away all of it's good movies to someone else to distribute in Mexico, and I have oodles of work to get done before I have to present three films in L.A. in a couple of weeks, so... glad to be back blogging.
