This movie wasn't bad. I'm not sure all kids will like it and I don't think a whole lot of adults will. It's just ok. It has great voices for the characters including Woody Allen, Sharon Stone and Sly Stallone. However, the script isn't that great. It's not original and isn't all that funny. I expect more from Woody Allen. The film is very similar to Pixar's A Bug's Life. It's about a clumsy ant who is in love with a princess in the colony and he must prove that he's not the clutz he appears to be in order to win her over. However, Antz lacks where A Bug's Life delivers. It doesn't have any endearing characters that make the movie funny. It's just an ok movie. It drags a bit at times and if your kids really liked A Bug's Life they should enjoy this one but most likely they won't like it near as much and with reason. Wait for it on rent.
