I was decently excited when I saw the preview for this film, although I was having trouble believing that the government would turn this guy's life upside down for something he was unaware of. However, I thought that the director, Tony Scott, did a good job. The script was decent and the action was impressive. I think the acting was fine and I thought that Will Smith and Gene Hackman made a good team. However, I thought the cinematography was more distracting than anything. Also, I recommend that someone planning on seeing this film shouldn't get up for bathroom breaks. It's semi-confusing and it jumps around a tad. I think that Will Smith did an excellent job of lighting up the dark, suspenseful overall atmosphere of the movie. However, I wish that he did have some more of his great one-liners. All in all, I think this movie is exciting and well written and certainly not the best action movie I've ever seen but still will be enough to entertain audiences.
