I saw the trailer for this movie and it looked chaotic and not very interesting but I still wanted to see it for two reasons. It's by the director of Swingers and it has an all-star young cast. And my assumptions about the movie were correct. It is chaotic and confusing, it's also long and very dark at parts. The humor isn't near as biting as it was in Swingers. The acting is very good, I'll say that for it but there just wasn't a good enough story there. I'm not sure what they could've done differently to make it better. It may just be a story that should'nt have been told. It's just not that great. The movie also seems to be ripping off of Pulp Fiction a lot. From the mixed up delivery of events to the drugs to the dead people, etc. The creative force behind this movie wasn't all that original. What makes this movie interesting is the acting and the fact that although this style has already been done by Tarantino, it's still makes the movie more interesting. It's ok and maybe something to watch with your buddies one night on tv but nothing to really go out of your way for.
