Wow! What a cute, funny, exciting movie. I really enjoyed this film. With the exception of a few cheesey backgrounds and a few other bobbles, I saw nothing wrong with this film. I thought Antonio Banderas was wonderfully charismatic in his role as Zorro. I thought Catherine Zeta-Jones did a fantastic job as well. And the big shocker to me, although I don't know why, was Anthony Hopkins. When I saw that he was cast to be the older Zorro, I thought it was a miscast. However, he pulled off the job with no problem. He actually was kind of sexy, which shocked me a bit. I thought this movie blended just the right amounts of humour, action, and drama. Speaking of action, the sword fight scenes where WONDERFUL. Yeah sure, sword fighting is nothing new to the silver screen. But when Antonio Banderas has two seperate and NOT synchronized sword fights going on at the same time was when I got impressed. I recommend this film for everyone. Incredibly witty and cute. Have fun, and enjoy!
