This movie was a decent documentary. There were very interesting things to be learned while watching the film. However, unlike the film Everest, I thought the film was lacking in excitement. That is what seperated Everest from other every day documentaries. I might as well have been sitting at home drinking a Coke watching this on the Discovery Channel. It was good, don't get me wrong. But, it's something I would expect to see on t.v. and I didn't think it was equal to Imax's standards. Then again, I haven't seen all that many Imax films. So, I'll rephrase, it wasn't near as good as Everest. Although Everest I would consider a work of art. But, all in all, this film is educational. It didn't have a real story to it, so it was much more in classic documentary form. I would recommend it to some extent. For people who really like documentaries, sure, it's a good film. But if they aren't your thing, don't go out of your way for this one.
