Well, the only really good thing about this film is Sandra Bullock. Unfortunately, there are many more bad things about this film than good. I thought the writing was jumpy and uncreative at best. The film was very dark and illogical at times. The aunts do a fairly good job, and Nicole Kidman and Aidan O'Quinn are okay. Basically, the acting is not necessarily lacking, it's the story. There is a ridiculously lame rap-up, about as bad as a clapping scene and no real spectacular scenes. I wouldn't even bother renting this one unless you're really bored and all the good movies are checked out.
