Well, how could the producers go wrong. They stick Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker together and end up with an unbeatable combination. A few criticims though, because this film was shot in the US instead of Asia, Chan had trouble doing his traditional AMAZING stunts because of insurance problems. However, he still does a remarkable job with his limitations. The man is a fight choreographing genius. Not to mention his unbelievable athletic ability. Now, match that up with Chris Tucker's witty delivery of comedy and you end up with this film. However, my other critism. The problem with matching these two stars up is that not enough time is devoted to either. I would have liked to see more amazing stunts by Jackie Chan, and I would have liked to have heard more snappy remarks from Tucker. However, these two did make a good pair. They seemed to geniunely enjoy themselves. Like most action films the story isn't all that great, but really, who is going to see this for the story? Make sure to stay around after the movie is over to watch the outtakes. |
