Well, I'm a large fan of Adam Sandler (even though I don't like SNL). So, I was looking forward to seeing this film. Although I don't think it matched up with his other films like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, I still thought this was a cute film. There is more 80's humour in this film than I'm sure you can catch in one sitting. Jon Lovitz has a cute bit part in this film. And I'd say this film is worth watching if not just to hear Adam Sandler's love song. Drew Barrymore is also charming, and I'm very happy she's cleaned up her act and received better roles lately. Thank God she didn't do any Poison Ivy sequels. Well she died, so that would make it hard. Anyway, I think she is a good actress and I think she did a fine job in this film. I thought the movie was a little slow and not as much punch to the humour in comparison. But, I did like this film and I recommend it.
