Aoshima is your typical stereotyped spoiled rich brat. (no insult!) Studying in the Nekomi Instuitute of Technology (N.I.T) as a first year student (given from the fact that he's younger than Keiichi since he calls him Sempai and Keiichi's in year 2), Aoshima aims to win for himself the heart of Belldandy, whom he simply gushes over. And to that end, and to spite Tamiya and gang, he sets up his own "5 star" 4 Wheels Club complete with bunny women to draw members away from the Auto club. He isn't a very major character, but he appears often enough.

Aoshima, for all his bluster, also has quite some brains to back it up. Always planning and scheming, Aoshima comes up with the most devious, and most often unpleasant, ways of trying to get Belldandy away from Keiichi and with himself. Of course, he just loves to gloat over his supposed victory of his well-made plan even before he's started it. While his plans are good, his execution isn't. Just a little well executed, but that's it.

A main reason for his failures is probably because he doesn't seem to understand the concept of true love, mostly because he doesn't know it. As a playboy and false-intentioned person in the terms of relationships, Aoshima probably doesn't know how true relations are supposed to work out and his plans always take the "If it doesn't work on the first try, it won't work at all" route, with no real backups for it. This means that he's so confident of himself he thinks he doesn't need to plan beyond the initial stages.

Also, he appears to be a gourmet (not self-professed) of food. Being rich as he is, he gets to eat at the best hotels and restaurants, and those places aren't the best eateries without reason. Maybe another reason why he likes Belldandy so much is because her cooking is better than any of the restaurant food he's ever eaten. Belldandy is, after all, a Goddess who loves to cook. This is a fairly good point about Aoshima.

And despite his apparent selfishness, Aoshima is quite a family guy. At least, we know he cares enough about Sayoko to ask about her well-being once in a while. And he seems to know how to use family relations to his own ends. Could be experience?

Well, I can't see anyone really liking Aoshima for any reason unless they're as devious as he is or want to be as rich as he is. But if anyone does admire him, I'll guess it'll be for his cunning, if not very considerate, mind. He's not really bad, just misled.
