Morisato Keiichi : All round Mr. Nice guy, although sadly enough, not many people appreciate his efforts enough. Except Belldandy, of course. The lead male in the story, Morisato Keiichi is the person who managed to fit the criteria for a wish-granting and ended up making the call that would change his, and those around him, lives' forever.

Studying in the Nekomi Institute of Technology, Keiichi joined the school's Auto Club because of his intense interest in automobiles. Race cars, drag cycles, you name it. Short, shy but kind hearted, Keiichi is sadly, the Nekomi Auto Club's scapegoat, which is fortunate because he is a hardworking fellow. His sempais Ootaki and Tamiya are always pushing the hard jobs onto him, but he's rewarded well enough for it. It could be they trust him more than anyone else to do the job right that he's chosen all the time. Hey, that speaks a world about his abilities and trustworthiness. They did consider him as Club leader once.... *spoiler!*

But poor Keiichi. While living with three Goddesses might not seem such a bad thing to you, that's only because Goddesses (and Gods for that matter) are seen as perfect, kind, and patient beings, all of which Urd and Skuld aren't to more or less a greater extent. Keiichi's always caught in their crossfire, and ends up suffering quite a bit. Also, when one or the other of the two Goddesses decide to do something for or about Keiichi's relationship with Belldandy, they mean the same thing. Trouble. Fortunately, Belldandy's there to help Keiichi, and he himself feels that Belldandy's presence is all the reward he needs for taking her sisters' abuse. *laugh* And when it comes to taking abuse, Keiichi normally does it gladly for Belldandy.

He's also a brave guy. Love does many things, doesn't it? Keiichi's willing to risk his life for Belldandy, and did it more than once. (When playing around with Urd's medicines without knowing what they'll do to you, of course you'll be risking your life!) The same goes for her, naturally. But he's not all that brave when it comes to their relationship, because Keiichi normally can't summon the guts to try to get closer to Belldandy, leaving all the work up to her. (But hey, it's his first time in such a relationship, give him some time man!) Fortunately for us, we've got a daring Goddess.... ^_^

He also has his human view on things too, like us all. He's sarcastic sometimes, he can't stand certain things when they don't go his way, and he normally doesn't like other peoples' interference in his relationship with Belldandy because he wants to build it on his own. And of course, like everyone else who knows the feeling, he gets jealous when someone tries to win Belldandy's heart. But the series would be so boring if Keiichi didn't act human like us all, right? I'm sure Kosuke-sama put a part of himself in Keiichi somwhere.... (Outside of his interest in automobiles.)

But, poor Keiichi, being tangled up in affairs of the divine, doesn't know a single thing when it comes to their workings. He's always being left in the dark when something weird happens and only when one of the Goddesses have time to explain does Keiichi understand what's going on. Of course, it could be worse for him, he might not have even met the Goddesses and would never know what really went on. But fortunately, Keiichi knows enough about Belldandy and the rest to stay sane when the weirdest things happen. Although the same can't be said of the others around him, and Keiichi doesn't want them to find out about the existance of the Goddesses, perhaps because he's afraid they'll be exploited and news will get out. He's world-wise in this sense.

Apparently almost everybody in Ah! My Goddess likes Keiichi, contrary to what they themselves say. I guess it's hard not to like this guy. Sayoko likes him, his Sempais like him (you know what I mean), even Skuld and Urd have some feelings for him, albeit not strong ones. So even being Mr. Nice Guy has some winning advantages. And although Keiichi may not know it, people do care for him whether they know it or not. He should feel glad.

Well then, seems that Keiichi has recieved enough adulation. ^_^ Let's all hope his relationship with Belldandy grows. And all you Keiichi fans out there, any dedications? (Hopefully it's slowly, so we'll have a few more mangas to read. *laugh* Gokuro, Kosuke-sama!)
