Joshua Jackson was born June 11th, 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). Besides his parents, his family consists of a younger sister, Aisleagh and two stepbrothers, Lymon and Jonathan. HIs pets have included a cat named Magic, a Rhodesian-Lab named Shumba and a turtle named Searesha.

This brown haired Gemini landed his fist acting job at the age of nine in a series of commercials for the British Columbia Tourism board. Before making the leap to movies, Joshua made several tv appearances. He has been seen in shows like "MacGyver", "The Outer Limits", "Champs", "Robin on Loxly" and in the tv movie "Ronnie and Julie". He also won the lead role as Charlie in a Seattle-based musical production of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory".

Joshua made his big screen debut in Michael Bortman's 1991 film "Crooked Hearts". He later landed a main role in Disney's "Mighty Ducks" which lasted for three installments ("The Mighty Ducks", "D2: The Mighty Ducks" and "Mighty Ducks 3"). He has also made appearances in movies like "Digger", "Andre" and "Magic In The Water". More recently he has been seen in "Apt Pupil", "Urban Legends" and "Cruel Intentions".

As always, Joshua can be seen as Pacey Witter on the WB's highly successful teen drama "Dawson's Creek". When filming the series he divides his time between his North Carolina apartment and his hometown Vancouver where he attends college.
