As all 'NSYNC fans know, Justin Timberlake is the youngest member of the group. Because of his age, his mother (Lynn) or another adult must travel with him while he is on the road. Though, when he's not travelling and performing concerts around the world, he spends most of his time in Orlando, Florida. He lives with his mother and apparently 'NSYNC members, Chris and JC. Several states away, Justin's brother Jonathan and father Paul live in Memphis, Tennessee. 'NSYNC is not Justin's first major gig. A few years back, at the age of twelve, he appeared on the Disney Channel's MMC (Mickey Mouse Club) after beating out 5 000 other kids for the spot. It was here that he met future 'NSYNC member JC. After Justin and JC had finished their run on MMC, they got together to form the beginnings of what is now 'NSYNC. It wasn't long after that they got together with Lance, Joey and Chris to form the entire group.

In his spare time, Justin is said to love spending his free time shooting hoops with his friends because basketball is his favorite sport. In fact, he and the rest of the 'NSYNC group have participated in charity basketball tournaments (in one of these tournaments they got to play alongside the Backstreet Boys).

If he were to describe himself, he would say that he is always dedicated, very persistent but nevertheless goofy and funny. When he sits down to listen to music (other than 'NSYNC) he enjoys listening to soul and R&B types of music; he says he likes music from Boyz II Men, Blackstreet and Babyface. Besides being able to sing and dance onstage, Justin can also play the guitar and piano. When it comes to idols, Justin has said that he admires Michael Jordan (that's because he's such a big basketball fan); Justin also says that his father is another big influence in his life.
