TVB Series - Sui Dou Wong Fan
Ellen Chan Ar Lun first TV appearance was in "Siu Dou Fong Wan". She was the best bodyguard of the Shanghai Mafia head starred by Idy Chan Yuk Lin and Ray Lui Leong Wai. After this big hit, she made a few series for TVB mainly as beauties role. Ellen, one of the most pretty actress in the world. She is supposed to be the main actress in "Young & Dangerous" but people have deliberately taken her out. Not fair. If she is in there, this will be a very good show. Ellen, I love you! Ellen started acting very early in the 80S. The show that got her notice was "Siu Dou Fong Wan" together with Chan Yuk Lin and ray Lui Leon Way. At that time she acted as the best bodyguard of Chan Yuk Lin, a head of Shanghai gang at that time. She had her hair nicely tied and always wear a jacket. Cool fighter. In all her fight, she always wins. Even ray Lui has no match to her.
TVB Movie - Thailand Mafia Movie
TVB never produce any movie unless they really sees potential in certain actress and wanted to promote her. Ellen was certainly the one. She starrted in this movie with Alex Man Chi Leong and Toh Tak Wai. This movie is about some undergrown fight which involves people from Hong Kong and Thailand. Ellen acted as a Thai tour leader who eventually ended up with Alex Man who have a dead wife. At one point, Alex Man told Ellen "With your beauty, you can get guys lining up a few streets!" It is absolutely true!
TVB Series - Comedy Series
Then she started acting in many TVB series. This series I remember was about her as the 2nd sister to a family. Having guys chasing after her every day. She has this wet look hair with a bit of styled-hair in front of her forehead. Because of her self confidence, she always make fool of other guys. One of the guy was So Wing Hong, who was absolutely not known at that time.
Movie - "Pah Wong Fah" Woman Special Defence Unit (SDU)
Later, she started acting in movies. What a loss to TVB. The one I remember very much was "Pah Wong Fah" it is about a group of newly formed SDU for female. Ellen of course was the best in the team. She fights the best, look the best. Guys in the SDU call her the best of the best. When Alex Toh Tak Wai, a SDU member, is having a fighting competition with her, all she did was smile and he got his balls kicked. Ellen always comforts her peers like Ng Kwan Yue and tells her "hey! Don’t worry you're not pretty, you have internal beauty too". At one scene, when Ellen was not being selected to a dance (unreasonable), Ng Kwan Yue said the same thing to her! What a bitch!
Movie - Mafia Movie with Jacky Cheung
She also acted in this gangster movie with Jacky Cheung Hok Yau and Loletta Lee Lai Chun. She acted as the girl friend of Jacky Cheung. She was so pretty in this movie. She dressed in very sexy manner. In the movie, Jacky shouted at her and even slapped her several times because he wanted "face" in front of others. Also, I remember a scene where Ellen was kissing Jacky and the phone rings. He rather answer the phone and having hot motion with Ellen.

Later, she stared to change to long curly hair, which looks great too. But the new hairstyle now doesn't seem to attract too much attention. Ellen should change back to her original hairstyle or the long curly one to get back all her fans. You'll realize she always act as beauty queen in all her roles. This proves that she know she is beautiful and everybody know she's beautiful too! That's why lot of guys tries to take advantage of her. Don't worry Ellen. Be cool and maintain your look and talent.
