I can't explain how impressed I was with it! They obviously put a SHIT load of work into this thing, and it shows!! NICE JOB! I want to watch it again, so to catch everything again! All the actors did a splendid job as well! Sure, they were amateurs, but they kicked ass over some of today's "stars"! Jay in particular, what a great job! You really started to believe his nightmaristic-phobia, and how he was so haunted by his past. And his wife, and Bogey's wife, and all the others did great! It looks like they had a lot of fun doing that, and that's what it's all about. And how can I forget about the cop, also a great performance. I have done these type of movies with friends in the past, and it always seemed like everybody was overacting or something, but Bogeys seemed to be right on. And also, who could forget the unforgettable portrayal by Bogey of The Shape himself...superb acting, and excellent mask!! I got such a kick out of watching it! Especially the Busch beer Jay was pounding can after can! Delicious! The effects were clever too, with good camera angles and nifty illusions. And the mock-Myers at the end was a howl too! That cut off head was brutal!! Yeah! I too, loved the music from Halloween 2 the best, and you guys seemed to use it very effectively, with some dandy sound effects. The whole look and feel of the movie looked like they really cared about the project, and didn't take any shortcuts to get it done, they really paid attention to detail. It wasn't all hodge-podged together looking. They even had a station wagon that closely resembled the original's! I had to laugh it was so good!! Oh well, yaddy yaddy yah, I could go on all day, but it was great, and I can't wait until I see Bogeys next project.
