KRIS BLUETT

has been working and performing in puppetry at Tears of Joy theatre since 1988. She also teaches puppetry at local elementary schools and acts as director for Higher Stages, a crew program for teenage performers & puppeteers. She has created and co-created theatre works including a sarcastic re-telling of the persephone story, "Why We Have To Inter", and "Doll Serenade", a short film featuring the Half & Half puppet from Broken Doll Town. She has worked with directors like Jan Wilkowski of Poland, Joseph Krafter of the Czech Republic, and fifth generation master puppeteer of China, Yang Feng.
