- - Poplar Creek Outdoor Theater was a perfect setting for Neil. I remember that these shows were in August and it was warm and sultry. This made the setting especially wonderful when Neil sang Hot August Night. The audience stirred quite a bit at the opening lines of this song, and Neil soaked us for all it was worth.......
