My Tricks

These tricks are ones that I found out by myself.  They may be posted on other web pages, but I did not see them before I discovered them by myself.

Get Stuck and Pull off Millions of Tricks - This trick works in Downtown, Minneapolis.  I have only tried on the Playstation version, so it may work on other systems, but maybe not.  Go down to the fountain area to the gray halfpipe with the huge movie screen.  At the very left of the gray halfpipe is the Birdhouse logo, and to the right of that are double up arrows. Between the logo and the arrows is a noticable seam between the pieces of concrete.  You must go up the halfpipe and land in the seam.  You will get stuck and pull off any trick you want.  You can rotate it for multipliers as well.  I have gotten it about 10 or 12 times, with 2 different characters, and in Single Session, as well as Free Skate.  It is fairly difficult to pull off.  This works on the Playstation version, but I'm not sure if it works on any other system.  This trick is in the Useless Glitches category because there is no way to land.  My record is a 620,000,000 point trick, which took about 15 minutes, then I got bored and hit "Retry".  If you hit "End Session", it will not end, because it waits until you end your trick, but the trick will never end.

Wall Ride to the Sky - This is probably my favorite trick.  It works in THPS 1 or 2 (demo & final version).  To accomplish this, skate towards a corner of two walls.  Ollie into it and hit Triangle to Wall Ride.  If you ollie into the right area, you will Wall Ride, but instead of heading down, you will launch upwards very high.   This is better in THPS 2 (demo) or real THPS 2 because you can Wall Ride into the corner in a created stage, then you can pull off crazy tricks like Boneless + Wall Ride + The 900 + Manual...  This trick is great for a laugh.  If you can't quite get it, here's a pointer: when you get close to a corner, angle yourself so your board is facing near one side of the wall, not directly into the corner.  Soon I will get up some pictures to explain it easier.

Wall Ride to Reach High Areas - This is an easy way to reach higher areas.  Wall Ride, then at the peak of the ride, ollie off and grind on the area above.  This is useful on THPS 2 & THPS 2 Demo to get to the higher areas, such as over a halfpipe in the Stage Creator or up to the roofs on a stage like Venice.  This might not make much sense, but I'll get pictures hopefully.
