Rex Rottwyler: Hello folks, welcome to another shoot interview session, and today's guest is the XWA Hardcore Champion, Little C who is pumped up. Chris, thanks you for coming.
Little C: No probelm Rex, I am fired up, feed me with your intellectual smart-mark questions.
Rex Rottwyler: Alright, the first question is no surprise, so how did you break into the business?
Little C: Well Rex, I had bounced around from federation to federation. Most of them closed within a few weeks. I felt no good promoter would even bother to look at me. I almost hung it up. As the Wizard of Odd broke in to the XWA, he mentioned my name to Tokyo, and he saw my talent, and that was that.
Rex Rottwyler: So which promotions did you work for?
Little C: Ah...let's see if I even remember the names of this shit. I was in contract with the EWF for the better half of 1997. Then I was briefly involved with the HWF, but it closed down in a month. I basically was in underground federations until my work here in the XWA.
Rex Rottwyler: Okay, how did you get in contact with the XWA?
Little C: Well, I am basically here on a count of the Wizard of Odd as I mentioned before.
Rex Rottwyler: Now who is your personal "kliq" in the lockeroom?
Little C: Well, besides the obvious WAC-PAC, Deathlok and I go way back. But some of the boys in the PAC question Deathlok's talent to become a member. I do not see how considering he would be the only actual WAC-PAC wrestler who has beat Drought in a singles match. But there is no leader and...majority
rules so what can I tell ya?
Rex Rottwyler: Did any of the veterans give you advice or helped you out in any way in the XWA?
Little C: That's a funny story, because before Tokyo was gunning for me, he along with Doc O'Leary showed me the ropes. But it seems Tokyo is a man who likes a little too much conformity.
Rex Rottwyler: Who do you consider your best to work with in the ring?
Little C: Hands down the Wizard of Odd. I mean, if I told you anything else, I would be lying. We are 2-time XWA World Tag Team Champions, and we are great friends.
Rex Rottwyler: When you started out in the company, some of the boys in the lockeroom, including the staff urged to change your ring name to gimmicky names such as SyNNicaL, Weird, Strange, and Joey Cool. How did you feel about that?
Little C: Well I never heard anything in the back, but when I first came here, Doc and Tokyo were all over me saying Little C was not an "appropriate ring name". Well, I've never liked being told what to do, so I said no. Yea...Doc was cool with it, but not Tokyo. I didn't follow him then, and he hasn't liked me ever since. I guess he didn't like the idea that the new guy wasn't
kissing his ass. Once again Rex, you've done too much research. Those name are so embarrassing.....I never wanted them brought up again. Joe Cool, Weird, Strange? That to me wasn't constructive criticism, it was an insult. I mean, would you want to walk around being called that?
Rex Rottwyler: Only if I were ugly, anyway, moving along to the next question. Since the departure of Mr. Hardcore occurred about six months ago, do you feel that he was holding you back by not putting you over?
Little C: Who, Mr. Hardcore.....no. In fact, I think I proved something to him when I came in and kicked his ass my second match. He never did grant me that rematch, hmm...
Rex Rottwyler: Any truth to the rumor that you have heat with Calvin Krime?
Little C: No, Calvin missed my point. I was always ready for him in the back if he needed me, because I respect the guy and I respect what he's done for the business. I just did not feel it was right he put his career up to prove something to Devin, and I guess I was right...'cause now he's gone.
Rex Rottwyler: How did you feel about the death of Justin Santiago?
Little C: Well when I first heard, I was in my hotel after Clash.....I think I was about four doors down from him actually. The truth is it hit me so fast I couldn't even believe it. My immediate response was to break Devin's spinal cord like a twig. Overreacting? No I don't think so. Even now I have people
out here saying I cared too much, saying I was not "close" to Justin Santiago. And those people, although they may be pricks ... are correct. But I do not think anyone deserves to be murdered in cold blood, by a coworker no less. That man had a family to think about. Overreacting.....nah I feel I was
undereacting, maybe I should have gotten a 9 and taken him out..........But I would like a family someday.
Rex Rottwyler: Whose idea was it to call the stable, WAC-PAC?
Little C: It was actually Doc's idea. The thing was when Agent Midcarder joined the troop, it wasn't right to keep calling it the WAC-offs because WAC stood for Wizard and C. So now it is the Wizard and (Little)C PAC. That is not suggesting we are leaders, only we came up with the stable.
Rex Rottwyler: Now did you feel that with the retirements of Misery Machine, Hardcore Harry, Hall Monitor, Calvin Krime, and Devin Borgir, it would finally elevate you into main event status?
Little C: No Rex, infact I find that insulting even though I know it wasn't meant that way. You see, I was already a tag team champion before any of 'em left, and I was a hardcore champion before Devin, Calvin, or Hall Monitor left and I am now the XWA's only double champion. The world title would be nice, but in my opinion.... I am main event status.
Rex Rottwyler: Would you ever consider jumping to the WWA when it returns this September?
Little C: Not for a second, I mean Tokyo's given me a hard time, but I work well with the WAC-PAC and I am a double champion so...I think I'll stay right here.
Rex Rottwyler: Chris, here are some opinions on people and things, are you ready?
Little C: Go head Rex.
Rex Rottwyler: Alright, the XWA.
Little C: Ah...the x-treme wrestling movement, and my humble home. I love it here, and most of the boys in the back and staff like me, except for the ones I choose not to like.
Rex Rottwyler: The WWA.
Little C: No talent bums who scam all there ideas off us. Hell, I stopped over by their fan board, apparently most of the WWA fans like me. Infact, one said that I was no match for...I don't no one of their underpaid bums who's the hardcore champion. And to that man I say bring it on. But as for the fans, although they are dying to see talent, sorry.....Little C's stayin right here.
Rex Rottwyler: Mr. Hardcore.
Little C: Well, a hell of a competitor. The "Branding Iron Man", I guess his heart just wasn't in it anymore.
Rex Rottwyler: Wizard of odd.
Little C: One of my best friends, he's almost as sick as I am. We make a great team...he is one tough motherfucker.
Rex Rottwyler: The WAC-offs.
Little C: As a team, one word.....revolutionary. We have beaten the man himself, Truth and his cousin Devin. They were the best team around until we got here. Now if you want to see the greatest team, look no further than me and the Wizard of Odd.
Rex Rottwyler: The WAC-PAC.
Little C: Great group of guys, great group of competitors. Composed of rookies who Tokyo shunned out...well look at us now.
Rex Rottwyler: Calvin Krime.
Little C: Ah... what's the XWA gonna be like without "Seņor Suicide"? Great competitor, and a fighting champion who will be missed.
Rex Rottwyler: Prez Tokyo.
Little C: You know Rex, if I answered you truthfully, I would loose my job. But I guess he's not all bad, he gave me a shot at the hardcore title, and I capitalized. Now Tokyo Enterprise is cracking...sucks to be you.
Rex Rottwyler: Doc O'Leary.
Little C: Ah yes, the only one in the front office who believed in me. Great owner, great guy.
Rex Rottwyler: Drought.
Little C: Well Rex, he has great ability but truthfully, I think he is a fraud. Three months later, caring about Justin, trying to show the world he's sensitive. Well Rex, you might buy it but I do not.
Rex Rottwyler: Justin Santiago.
Little C: What can be said when you are asked to speak about the
presence of greatness? Nothing except that he is one of the best guys I've ever faced, and even now he is missed.....
Rex Rottwyler: Where do you see Little C in the near future?
Little C: I see myself, with a family, and a world heavyweight strap in the future.
Rex Rottwyler: Well, Chris, thank you for doing the shoot with us, and good luck with your future.
Little C: Thanks Rex.
