Rex Rottwyler: Hello folks, welcome to another edition of our shoot interview session. Today's guest is Steve Shady, and he seems to be excited for this interview. Steve, welcome to the show.
Steve Shady: Rex, I'm dying to answer your questions. I'm actually dying of thirst, you have any Poland Spring water?
Rex Rottwyler: Ummm, hold on. Hey Jim, grab the empty bottle in my office, and go to the bathroom and fill up the bottle.
Steve Shady: On second thought, I'll go to the store later.
Rex Rottwyler: Okay, so how did you first break into the business?
Steve Shady: I once worked for a site called The Viper's Den, and I loved working with them. Then, I became friend's with the Vice Prez of that company named Matt. I became a worker of many feds all over the net, and then I decided to make my own, and joined some more.
Rex Rottwyler: Have you worked for any promotions?
Steve Shady: Yes, actually I owned two feds and one fed I participated in. Both of them, I built personally with a little help from Joker and Mike the Homeless. One, called the UCWF was deleted by a hacker, and the other one, called EWCC was shut down because the wrestlers didn't RP enough. I participated in a fed called WCWF. In this fed, I had become the US Champ, and had 2 title shots at the WCWF title, but the wrestler that fought me was the owner....and he booked himself to win every match he fought, so I had no chance.
Rex Rottwyler: How did you get in contact with the XWA?
Steve Shady: I got introduced by Mike the Homeless and Joker. They both encouraged me to join, but at first I didn't like the idea. Soon later, I joined and I love it!
Rex Rottwyler: Who is your personal "kliq" in the lockeroom?
Steve Shady: Actually, myself, Mike the Homeless and Joker are all our personal "kliq". On the show, we aren't really against each other, but behind the scenes, we're really all good friends.
Rex Rottwyler: Are any of the veterans giving you advice or helped you out in any way in the XWA?
Steve Shady: No, not really. I don't exactly ask people for help. If I need help, I would most likely go to someone already in contract with XWA.
Rex Rottwyler: How do you feel when some of the boys in the lockeroom refer to you as rip-off of Eminem?
Steve Shady: Hell, I could give two shits what the guys in the back say. All that matters is me winning, having a good time, and feeling good that I have a chance to represent a great rapper!
Rex Rottwyler: Steve, here are some opinions of people and things...
Steve Shady: Go ahead, I'm down.
Rex Rottwyler: The XWA.
Steve Shady: I think it's a great fed, and Doc and Tokyo are good at what they do. I hope it stays the way it is...plain and simple--fun and ordinary.
Rex Rottwyler: The WWA.
Steve Shady: I've not yet come in contact with any WWA members, and I don't plan to, but whoever wants a piece of me...I'll free my schedule!
Rex Rottwyler: The WAC-PAC.
Steve Shady: They are a great stable, perhaps the best in the fed. They have great skill, and I look up to them.
Rex Rottwyler: Mike the Homeless.
Steve Shady: On and off stage, he's still a great friend, and luckily he's by my side when in need!
Rex Rottwyler: Prez Tokyo.
Steve Shady: Like Mike the Homeless, he's a great guy on and off stage.
Rex Rottwyler: Doc O'Leary.
Steve Shady: What can I say? He and Tokyo put a lot of effort into the site, and I give them credit. You guys are the best!
Rex Rottwyler: Where do you see Steve Shady in the near future?
Steve Shady: Soon enough, Steve Shady will become the Hardcore Champion. I want to start with a small title, and work my way up. This way, I won't lose many matches against main eventers. I hope one day I can beomce the XWA World Champion. Even the Internet Title will keep me satisfied!
Rex Rottwyler: Thank you Steve for dropping by, and good luck with your future.
Steve Shady: Thanks Rex.
