Rex Rottwyler: Hello fans, and welcome to another shoot interview session. Today's guest is the current 2-time XWA International Champion, Sean Starr. Sean, thank you for spending your time for this interview.

Sean Starr: Yeah, I have alot of things to say, so I'm ready to talk.

Rex Rottwyler: As always, how did you first break into the business?

Sean Starr: I was 19, and I had just moved from my home in Calgary down to the United States. I was always an avid wrestling fan, always wrestling with my friends as well. I moved to California. I wrestled in some really poor independent wrestling federations for a little while. Either I quit because I was afraid my career would end before it began, or I would get moved to another federation. One inght, while wrestling in the ECWA, Extreme California Wrestling Association, a man by the name of Daniel Carevic was in attendance. After my match, even though I had lost, he showed up at my locker room. He told me who he was, the president of a federation named the Winnipeg Wrestling Association. He showed me around a little bit, and then offered me a developmental deal with the WWA. I took it and began to wrestle in dark matches and such for about a month. Then, I was offered a real contract and became a member of the WWA. That was the first real federation I joined.

Rex Rottwyler: Have you worked for any promotions?

Sean Starr: Well, the WWA was basically the only real wrestling federation I have been in, prior to the XWA. I wrestled with two independent federations, mainly, the ECWA and the NWA (Nevada Wrestling Alliance).

Rex Rottwyler: How did you get in contact with the WWA?

Sean Starr: Prez DC saw me at an ECWA show, later offering me a contract.

Rex Rottwyler: How was Prez DC in the lockeroom? DC was great! He seemed really happy to get new talent in the federation. He introduced me to a lot of the wrestlers in the back. He also helped me to get used to it, seeing as I was wrestling against the people I idolized from watching them on television.

Rex Rottwyler: Was there any heat with the veteran wrestlers in the WWA, namely Jake Pender and Timberworlf?

Sean Starr: No, they were really great. I felt like a child in the back. Yet, the veterans realy knew how to treat me so I would fit in. Mainly Phantom, and he was a great guy. He helped me out, training wise, and we became good friends outside of the federation.

Rex Rottwyler When you first started out in the WWA, you were known as BLooD. Did DC wanted you to change your gimmick or was it your idea?

Sean Starr: Hehe, yes, the infamous BLooD. That was my first gimmick, I carried it throughout my independent career as well as the WWA. I brought the idea to DC about changing my gimmick, mainly because it was getting old to me. Others in the back, as well as fans had approached me about a change, yet I had never really thought about it. Then, as I realized I was doing the same things over and over, I figured it was time for a change. And then and there, Sean Starr was born.

Rex Rottwyler: Did you leave on bad terms with the WWA?

Sean Starr: No,it was a rather clean exchange. My contract was running out, and I had a long talk with Prez DC about my future with the WWA. We talked about my past accomplishments, and what I could possibly do in the future. I told him that pehaps I needed a break from the WWA, and discovering new places. DC gave me his blessings, but I do know that sometime down the line, I will again reserface in the WWA!

Rex Rottwyler: What was your feeling on the WWA closing down until September?

Sean Starr: I know that DC had a lot going on behind the scenes. This will give him the time to get his things straightened out, as well as letting the WWA boys get to see the other parts of the Wrestling world.

Rex Rottwyler: Would you consider returning to the company when your contract with the XWA expires?

Sean Starr: As I have said, I know that somewhere down the line, I will return to the WWA. When is a question that will be answered, later I suppose.

Rex Rottwyler: How did you get in contact with the XWA?

Sean Starr: When I left the WWA, and was looking around for another federation, I remembered the 'sister' federation that some of the WWA boys were talking about in the back; the XWA. So, I went to check it out. I saw Hall Moniter there, and I talked to the president, which it happened. I was offered a contract with the XWA, amd it was that simple.

Rex Rottwyler: How did you feel when some of the boys in the WWA jumpshipped to the XWA?

Sean Starr: I laughed. I heard nothing of this jump in the back. I was surprised as any fan when I saw the name TAPPOTO. Although, when I saw it, I knew who it was right away. It was a complete shock, and it made me laugh.

Rex Rottwyler: Is your relationship with Lonnie Marie strictly professonial or personal?

Sean Starr: It is strictly professional. Lonnie Marie is a great girl, a true friend. However, it is pure business, as I believe she has a boyfriend, and I have a girlfriend (who I have been with for a year and a half now).

Rex Rottwyler: Is there still any lockeroom heat between you and Trauma?

Sean Starr: No, we are good friends now. When I first came into the XWA, we had our differences, seeing as Tokyo made us feud. I didn't really talk to him until after our feud had ended. Now, we are pretty good friends.

Rex Rottwyler: Do you feel that since the absence of Doc O'Leary, Tokyo is doing a great job with the fed?

Sean Starr: I believe Tokyo is doing great, running the federation on his own. I know it has to be tough, and very stressful to do such a thing, and kudos to him for keeping it out of the gutter.

Rex Rottwyler: Who do you consider working in the ring the best?

Sean Starr: I believe I work the best against Deathlok in the ring. We have a great chemistry when we fight each other. Our personas and in-ring ability mesh well together, and I believe it makes for good ratings with the fans as well. Deathlok is a great athlete. As for best in the ring, I believe it is Rebel. Although he just recently lost the XWA World Lightweight title, (and being a lightweight), he may be held back a little, and he has awesome mic work and some of the best talent the XWA has ever seen, in my opinion.

Rex Rottwyler: Sean, here are some opinions on people and things, so shall I continue?

Sean Starr: Absolutely!

Rex Rottwyler: Here we go...the XWA.

Sean Starr: When I first heard of the XWA, I figured it was just a smaller WWA, like a...beginner federation. Yet, when I came here, it opened my eyes. There is some great talent in front of the camera, and excellent people behind the cameras!

Rex Rottwyler: The WWA.

Sean Starr: The WWA.....what can I say about the WWA? WWA is the best...

Rex Rottwyler: Prez DC.

Sean Starr: I owe everything I have to DC. If it weren't for Daniel Carevic, there would be no Sean Starr. He really broke me into this business, and I owe him.

Rex Rottwyler: Timberwolf.

Sean Starr: I did not know Timberwolf too well. I watched him on television alot, but I did not know him personally that well. He was a hell of a competetor and no one can tell him otherwise.

Rex Rottwyler: Jake Pender.

Sean Starr: Pender is probably one of the hardest workers I have ever met in my life! He is always training, always thinking of new ideas and angles. He is what this business is all about.

Rex Rottwyler: Tokyo Enterprise.

Seab Starr: A great composition of wrestlers. They have the talent, and they have the smarts to keep up their personas of guys that you just love to hate!

Rex Rottwyler: Prez Tokyo.

Sean Starr: Tokyo is the guy you want running a federation. He is a great guy and I am glad to have run into him in my career.

Rex Rottwyler: Doc O'Leary.

Sean Starr: Doc, I don't know very well. In fact, the first time I ever really heard of him, was when I saw his name on my contract. I have met him a few times only. I hope to get to know him better down the line.

Rex Rottwyler: Where do you see Sean Starr in the near future?

Sean Starr: I see Sean Starr doing what he does best, annoying people. Sean Starr is one of those guys you just absolutly hate, despise, yet, you cannot deny him the fact that he is good! I see Sean getting into some trouble in the near future, having to make some big decisions, and perhaps paying for choosing wrong...or choosing right.

Rex Rottwyler: Sean, it was a pleasure having you here and good luck at the pay per view.

Sean Starr: Rex, like wise, and I will come out victorious in that Triple Threat Theatre match.
