Rex Rottwyler: Hello once again, and welcome to another edition of our shoot interview session. Today’s guest is a former XWA International Champion, TrAuMa. TrAuMa, welcome to show.
TrAuMa: Thanks Rex. I’m ready for the questions dude, so let’s do it.
Rex Rottwyker: Okay, so how did you first break into the business?
TrAuMa: Well, I first started wrestling for Abdullah the Butcher in Japan. I’ve been through it all (I guess). Barbwire, thumbtack, explosions, it’s all the same to me. It was a hard time in my career, but it was well worth it as i am now in the XWA.
Rex Rottwyler: Which promotions have you worked for in the past?
TrAuMa: I’ve been in the ODW (which I‘m not proud of) and they screwed me twice out of a contract. So I jobbed once and quit, then I was part of a fed called WWA (this isn’t the rival fed of XWA), and it was a small promotion not known to many. But now I am part of the XWA, and I must say I love it here.
Rex Rottwyler: Did you win any titles in these feds?
TrAuMa: Yes, infact I was a heavyweight, hardcore, and tag team champion in the WWA. In the ODW, I never held a title due to the fact I had one match. Then on to the XWA, I defeated the Wizard of Odd for the International belt in my fourth match, and I plan on doing it again somewhere down the line.
Rex Rottwyler: How did you get in contact with the XWA?
TrAuMa: I got in contact through XWA through a past superstar here known as Devin Borgir. He told me he would like to see me there, so I showed up and got signed.
Rex Rottwyler: How did you feel about the departure of Terror and Sin?
TrAuMa: Well it was a loss of two friends, and also stable mates. Now that Menace is no more without them...I plan on doing it alone for awhile....he will be missed only by me most likely because he fucked with everyone else too much.
Rex Rottwyler: Who do you consider working in the ring the best?
TrAuMa: I would have to say the Wizard of Odd. He’s never screwed me out of a match because he beat me fair and square. But I also beat him fair and square, so I think we put on one hell of a match.
Rex Rottwyler: What did you think about the death of Justin Santiago?
TrAuMa: Well I myself am a big fan of Slipknot’s music...it was funny when I first heard that they had shot someone, but I later found out it was Justin Santiago...I didn’t know Justin, so I guess I didn’t think much of it except another wrestler dead....
Rex Rottwyler: Would you ever want to work a match with PurGatoRy?
TrAuMa: Sure, PurGatoRy is one of the few men in this federation I actually trust. I also know he can defend himself without my help, and with us together, it would be awesome!
Rex Rottwyler: When your contract with the XWA expires, would to jumpship to the WWA when it returns in September?
TrAuMa: Fuck no!! I'm not what they call a “sell out” in any way. I’ve made my name here, and I will stay here until XWA is shut down (which won’t happen).
Rex Rottwyler: Alright TrAuMa, here are some opinions on people and things. Are you ready?
TrAuMa: Uh huh.
Rex Rottwyler: Okay, the XWA.
TrAuMa: I love it here in the XWA. It’s become my new home, and I love the way things are going.
Rex Rottwyler: The WWA.
TrAuMa: Don’t know much about the WWA, but it seems as if they can’t match up to the XWA in any chance though.....
Rex Rottwyler: Sean Starr.
TrAuMa: What can I say, he came from the WWA, he got one hell of a push; no biggy. I beat his ass in his first match here, and he escaped me in his second match against me. There’s no more to it except that he has the belt with my name on it....and I plan to claim it....
Rex Rottwyler: Menace 2 Society.
TrAuMa: Menace.....Good ol’ Menace is now dead. Terror and Sin have left, so I have decided to call Menace quits....
Rex Rottwyler: Prez Tokyo.
TrAuMa: Prez Tokyo was a good prez.....until he started letting it get to his head about his power. He’s taken it too far....
Rex Rottwyler: Doc O’Leary.
TrAuMa: Doc seems like a really cool, fair guy to me. I don’t know much about him, but as of now I plan on meeting him......
Rex Rottwyler: PurGatoRy.
TrAuMa: PurGatoRy, like I said is a great competitor, and I expect a lot from him. Anytime he needs me for a tag match or just to watch his back, it’s cool with me. But when it comes down to it, I respect him to death.......
Rex Rottwyler: Justin Santiago.
TrAuMa: Well he’s dead...and I never got to know him, so that saddens me. But life goes on, and I don’t leave it there to dwell on....
Rex Rottwyler: Where do you see TrAuMa in the near future?
TrAuMa: Well right now, things are still at a peak in my career. Main event twice in a row, soon to be International champion, and it looks really good for me. But in the future, it will be the XWA World Heavyweight title...and main event every night defending it!
