Freeze
A very simple freeze is one that originates from the Handglide or Float. This is referred to as the Turtle. This is hard on the wrists at first put if you keep practicing it will soon be as easy as standing up. The turtle is when you have your arms tucked in to your chest and your hands facing out so that they are the only things touching the ground.
Your body is horizontal to the floor,
for example: ======== The lower line is the floor, the top line is you. The only thing in between you and the floor are your arms. That's right your arms support your entire body weight.
Now I am going to teach you how to do it!
The first step is to get on your knees so your close to the ground and so that you can get into position easily.I am trying to be brief and as detailed as possible so please bear with my instruction I know it is allot to read and hard to visualize.
You are now on your knees. Lift your arms and place your elbows in-between your stomach and your hip bone. Your Fingers are facing outwards ( Left hand fingers pointing left, Right hand fingers pointing right). Now this is the exact position you want on the floor.
Lower yourself to the floor, you will have to place your hands down and then gently place your body on the elbows. Your Knees stay bent bring them up of the ground and try to balance on your upper arms and hands. Your knees are bent to help you balance better, after you get this move you can start to do it with your legs straights or in a original stylish pose. If you a
have trouble balancing, use your head, literally, put a tiny bit of weight on your forehead so you have something to keep you balanced. When I first started this move I remember rocking back and forth from my knees hitting the ground to my head hitting the ground. Keep your head straight and wrists & elbows apart.
TIPS
1)PRACTICE
2)Keep your wrists and elbows slightly apart.
3)Take it easy keep your knees on the ground and when you feel balanced lift your knees.
4) Be very carful with this move you could mess up your wrists if you move too fast, You will get it in time.
