Often, bounty hunters were driven into their profession by some traumatic event in their past. In this sense,
Gurion Silizzar is the quintessential bounty hunter. For years, the insane Doctor Evazan has wandered the
galaxy, butchering hundreds of innocent people in the name of medical progress. As fate would have it, Dr.
Evazan was responsible for the deaths of seven members of the Silizzar family; a fact that caused young
Gurion to devote his life to hunting down the mad doctor. In fact, the majority of the surviving Silizzars assist
Gurion in whatever way they can.
The rookie bounty hunter's chance at revenge came on the planet Ando, where Dr. Evazan had taken up
residence in an abandoned to continue his studies. Using a holoshroud to conceal his appearance (and the
weapons he was carrying), Gurion allowed himself to be kidnapped by the doctor, who intended on
transferring his mind into the fresh young body of the Silizzar youth. While other experiments were under
way, however, Gurion emerged from his holoshroud with an armed thermal detonator and captured the hated
Dr. Evazan. Using the detonator as persuasion, Gurion Silizzar forced the doctor onto the roof of the castle
where he had arranged for his mother's ship to land and pick them up. As they waited, though, Evazan's pet
and guard, a ferocious Meduza, attacked the bounty hunter. This attack took Silizzar by surprise, and allowed
Dr. Evazan to disarm his kidnapper.
In the ensuing struggle, Gurion Silizzar plummeted off the top of the tower to his death; Dr. Evazan managed
to escape, although a fight with his most recent experiment resulted in the top of the castle exploding just as
the Salizzar ship came near. Had the vengeful family checked for Evazan's corpse, they might have
discovered the fact that his Meduza managed to save him after his fall from the tower. As it is, the doctor has
been directly responsible for the deaths of 8 members of the family and is still at large; It is generally
assumed that the Salizzar Family has ceased their hunt because of their belief in Evazan's demise.
