| Jodo Kast is one of the most interesting bounty hunters in the galaxy; Not because of any individual style,
but for the glaring lack of it. His career and appearance were not only modelled after, but directly imitating,
that of the infamous Boba Fett. It is unknown where Kast got his Mandalorian Battle Armor from, but that
alone made him more than just an imposter; It made him a threat. Often, he would use his appearance to trick
employers into believing that he was the real Fett in order to drive the bounty up. Most people who saw Jodo
Kast mistook him at first for Boba Fett, which usually gave him an edge when negotiating and when hunting.
Unlike the more experienced hunter, however, Kast often worked with other hunters such as Puggles Trodd
and Zardra in order to complete the job. Many believe that his acceptance of partners was due to the fact that
he wouldn't have been able to tackle many of the acquisitions on his own.
Kast was infamous enough to be known by most people he came across, once they realized that he was not
Boba Fett. In fact, Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn knew enough about the bounty hunter to pose as him for
a fairly lengthy period in a secret Imperial strike at the Black Sun.
Jodo Kast's career came to an unexpected and most likely bloody ending when Boba Fett's attention finally
turned towards him. Fett's armor was destroyed inside the belly of the Sarlacc, although Fett himself
survived. The old hunter decided that now was the time to strike at the imposted that he had heard so much
about, and a plan was born. He went to The Bounty Hunters Guild, armorless, and demanded to hire the
services of Jodo Kast. No one recognized the grizzled human as Boba Fett or the strange ship that he came
in (The Slave II), and Kast eagerly took the job. At a more distant locale, Fett donned his backup armor and
stepped out of The Slave II in front of Kast. The younger hunter immediately knew who his employer had
been all along, but was not sure of what to do next. Jodo Kast was quickly but brutally dispatched, and his
armor, his weaponry, and presumably his ship were all taken by the hunter he had idolized for so long: Boba
Fett.
