| Ree-Yees was born on the planet Kinyen, home to the Gran. The planet Kinyen can be found in the Farfin sector, a core
sector. A common sight on the world are gently waving fields of goatgrass, which serve as food for the Gran. Grans are
goat-faced and got three dark colored eyes. The females of the Species also got three breasts. Another species on Kinyen
are the Houjix. They´re ferocious looking but loyal and gentle. The Grans often use them as pets or guardians.
The Gran are highly social, so when Ree-Yees murdered another Gran he became outcast of his society. Because of this
Ree-Yees suffered so much in his state of loneliness that he decided to leave his home world. He started a life as a drunk
and a thief, drinking his sorrows away with Sullustan gin. He had lost the last good things of Gran society and soon ended
at the court of Jabba the Hutt. It didn´t take long before everybody hated him, why he wasn´t fed to the Rancor remains
unknown, maybe because of his foolish appearence or because of the fights he started with the much stronger Ephant Mom
and Tessek.
Ree-Yees decided to tend Bubo, the large watchdog brought in by a Jawa. What nobody knew was that Ree-Yees had
hidden a transmitter among Bubo´s boils and skin flaps. The Empire had provided him a detonater, shipped in boxes with
Gran goatgrass. When the time was right it should be used to kill Jabba. When done the Empire would erase Ree-Yees
murder record so he could return to Kinyen. However, someone managed to steal the detonator out of the last shipment,
leaving Ree-Yees in a lurch. He blamed the death of Phlegmin, who seemed to be in the room when the detonator was
stolen, on Ephant Mon, a creature he didn't trust.
After this incident Ree-Yees became exteremly nervous, he began wandering through the lower levels of Jabba´s palace.
Soon he lost track, he went into a room, he realized that the room was filled with brains of B´omarr Monks. Visual
imaginations ran through his mind, he saw fire and explosions. Not really knowing what they meant, he started wandering
again, thinking things over and trying to get back to the known more "safer" levels. When he had reached those things were
clear for him, it had been a sign. The fire and explosions were the death of Jabba, so even when he didn´t had all pieces of
his detonater his scheme would work, Jabba would be death and Ree-Yees could return to Kinyen.
When Jabba´s court went to the Pit of the Carkoon to have Han Solo and Luke Skywalker fed to the Sarlacc, Ree-Yees
discovered that Jabba had planted a thought-trigger in Ree-Yees' mind, a trigger that, when activated by a code phrase from
Jabba, would compel him to set off a bomb that had been surgically planted in Ree-Yees' belly. When Leia Organa killed
Jabba, the threat of an explosion was temporarily averted.
Ree-Yees eased for a moment, but before he had his emotions under control again he heard some shots and explosions. The
Sailbarge was shaking soon followed by an intense heatwave, triggering the bomb inside his belly. Now he understood the
images he had seen, they predicted not only Jabba´s death but his also.
