Buffy, the Vampire Slayer is a very cool show...much better than the film, in my opinion! It was created by Joss Wheadon, who said in an interview that he loved horror films, and they always had a young blond woman who got killed by the monster. He felt sorry for her, so he created Buffy to turn the tables on the monsters.

All of these pictures were taken from the first two-part episode, Welcome to Hellmouth(pt.1) and The Harvest(pt.2).

Buffy is played by Sarah Michelle Geller, who first read for the part of Cordelia. She had already gotten that part when the studio asked her to read Buffy's part...they loved her! Buffy is a high school student in Sunny Dale. She is the Chosen one.

Giles

Giles, her controller, is the school librarian. He trains her and teaches her about the evil in the world!

Willow

Buffy's best friends are Willow Rosenberg...

Xander

...and Xander Harris.Together they fight vampires!

Angel

Eventually Buffy meets and falls in love with Angel, a vampire who only wants to do good.
