Caleb takes Lucas' place...



He recruits Ben



and Selena to help him...



When Caleb finds out that Gail is carrying Lucas' child, he tries to kill her, wanting to be Lucas' only heir. Unfortunately for him, Lucas isn't really dead. He does the only thing that he knows how to do, to prevent Caleb from taking his power.



He tries to destroy Caleb, knowing that Merly will be there to save him.

I can't really say that I liked or even understood this ending...but it's all there is. I feel like they rushed to create this ending to give the series some closure, and I am at least thankful for that.
