Donna goes to see Big Ed, James' uncle, looking for him...



...while James mourns alone. Donna leaves a message with Big Ed for James to meet her at the Road House later...



Ed's wife, Nadine. She is a strange woman and Ed doesn't really love her.



He married her while on the rebound from this woman, Norma Jennings, who owns the RR Diner. Norma's husband, Hank, is in prison but about to be released on parole. Norma and Ed are still in love and planning to leave their respective spouses.



Nadine, on the other hand, loves and needs Ed.
