There are pretenders among us. Geniuses with the
ability to become anyone they want to be.
In 1963, a corporation known as the Centre isolated
a young pretender named Jarod and exploited his genius for
their research.
He was stolen from his family when he was just a
boy, and raised in the Centre, with Sidney as his only
companion.
There are other children there, but he is not
allowed to associate with them, although some
fraternization is inevitable.
Eventually, Jarod escapes... he becomes different people in order to right the wrongs that he feels he is partly responsible for. The people who run the Centre are furious, and determined to get him back!
The most determined is Miss Parker...
...whose father is the nominal head of the Centre!
