Psi Factor is a show loosely based on real
scientific investigations into paranormal events. It is
hosted by Dan Akroyd, a lifelong student of the paranormal.
In the show, Matt Praeger and his team work for the Office of Scientific Investigation and Research (O.S.I.R.).
Matt is the case manager.
The rest of the team consists of Lindsay Donner,
Senior analyst;
Peter Axon, Chief Science Analyst;
and Anton Hendricks, Chief of Medicine, the oldest member of the group.
Their boss is Frank Elsinger, OSIR
Director of Operations...a classic company man, with an
unwritten agenda!
There is one other person of note...Michael Kelly, an
advisor of sorts. He lives in self-imposed exile from
society, but knows more than he should! He is very
paranoid, but always ready to help Matt and his
team.
