Place and Date of Birth: Trondheim, Norway; All Saint's Day

Physical: Very slender, but muscular from years on a farm. Tall, with broad shoulders. She can easily pass for a boy, albeit an effeminate one. Her long pale hair is usually bound up in a coiled braid that can be easily covered by a cap.

Clothing: Buckskin pants, muslin shirt, well worn boots or mocissans, and a heavy wool overcoat. Will, when the occasion demands it, wear a dress. Usually has a 'well loved' buster brown style cap on- handed down from her older brother Ole. Carries a Winchester, but relies mostly on her set of knives and ability to influence animals for protection etc.

Personality: Home educated, but well read. Soft spoken (still has a trace of her accent), except when she gets angry. Slow to trust, but fiercely loyal and still fairly naive for all of having been on her own for three years.

History: Left Norway with her family at 10. The family established a farm in North Dakota. Left the farm at 17, making her way around the west as a horse trainer. Her ultimate goal is to establish a horse ranch for herself. Ended up in Four Corners after a storm detoured her. Took work in the stable, and decided to stick around for a bit.

Knack: Lena has a knack for all animals, but especcially horses. She can communicate with them through images and emotions. Her accuracy varies from animal to animal...horses are the easiest, birds the hardest. For the most part things come in a series of images & memories. During extreme circumstances she can meld with her horse, Perezosa (Zosa), to act and react as one. Her skill lends itself to empathy among humans. She does not conciously try to venture any further into their thoughts and emotions than a surface awareness. This makes her uneasy around many people.
