SUNDAY
9.5.99

Today, I woke up 2 hours after I finished the beginning of this webpage. I started the day with a shower (WHOO HOO), and then went to Babbage's for a 6 hr day of work. Upon entering, it became the craziiest Sunday I have ever worked. WE HAD AROUND 100 DAMN  GAMES TRADED IN!!! AKA: TOO MUCH DAMN WORK!!! So, I worked all day, and then (once again) went straight to Meghan's house to play video games with her little brother (I know). Then, it was off to Meg's in Kent. We ended up ordering pizza, and renting quality movies. We couldn't find anything to rent, so we ended up with HACKERS and TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES II. Don't ask. So, we started watching movies, and then we recieved a call from Mindy (Meg's sister/roomate) who was in Cleveland visiting Andy (Mumbles). She stressed that she and Andy were coming home b.c. there was nothing to do in Cleveland, and b.c. she wanted to eat @ Denny's. (R-I-G-H-T.) This was very odd. Just two days before, she was yelling b.c. she'd  put too many miles on the car, yet she was now making 2 there-and-back trips to Cleveland....TO GO TO FUCKING DENNY'S!?!?! HOW GOOD CAN IT REALLY BE!?!?! I am not asking any question, b.c., well,  I really don't care :-) Anyway, we were so thrown by the prior conversation, that we decided to turn in. OH BY-THE-BY, here is a POST-IT note from Sat  8.4.99: Traveling from Wendy's to my house that night, I witnessed an act of sheer intelligence. I was just driving along, and I came to the intersection of Cleveland and 30th. Located at this intersection is a Rally's which has become a "hang out" for the youth of McKinley High School. They all venture here after their football games for one reason that I quickly became aware of: to fight. I am not talking a little quarrel, I AM TALKING 200 PERSON ROYALE!! So, like a law abiding youngster, I fulfilled my civic duties like any other person would; I parked the car across the street and watched the action for about 15min til the police arrived :-)
