Dear Touched By An Angel cast,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for making this show! It is one of
those few shows out there that is not afraid to say the word God. I am 14
and sometimes I get so frustrated with the problems in my life (friends,
family etc.) and when I watch the show it really helps me =) Sometimes I
don't know what I would do without it! Even though I am a Christian, this
show helps to remind me that God will never leave me no matter what, and
reminds me that God loves me. Your show means a lot to me, and I really look
up to Roma Downey, Della Resse and John Dye. Thanks you guys are great =)
God Bless,
Natalie
THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT MATTER! i HAVE A
VERY DEAR MALE FRIEND WHO SUFFERRED A STROKE AND HAS
BEEN IN A WHEELECHAIR FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS. SINCE
HE HAD THE STROKE IT LEFT HIM PARALYZED ON RIGHT SIDE
AND HE CAN ONLY USE HIS LEFT HAND AND SPEAKING IS
DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. HE HAS ONE WISH IN LIFE
AND THAT IS TO HAVE TOUCH BY AN ANGEL DO A STORY ON
THE LIFE OF A HANDICAPPED PERSON IN A WHEEL CHAIR
AND HOW THEY ARE STILL A HUMAN BEING WITH FEELINGS.
DANNY USED TO MAKE COMPUTERS AND IS VERY SMART. HE
IS HURT BY PEOPLE WHO LOOK AT HIM JUDGING HIM NEGATIVELY BY HIS HANDICAP. HE DROPS HIS HAT AND NO
ONE PICKS IT UP. PEOPLE DON'T TALK TO HIM OR TAKE A
MOMENT TO HEAR WHAT HE NEEDS TO SAY. I HAVE GIVEN HIM
THE TIME BECAUSE GOD INTRODUCED US ONE DAY AND WE
BECAME VERY GOOD SPIRITUAL FRIENDS. WE LOVE TO WATCH
TOUCH BY AN ANGEL AND MONICA IS THE ONE WE ARE REACHING
OUT TO TODAY IN HOPE THAT SHE CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH ME
AND FULFILL DANNY'S WISH TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS. LIFE
IS LONELY FOR THE HANDICAPPED WHEN THEY ARE MADE FUN
OF OR ARE IGNORED. I LOVE DANNY AND HE VERY OFTEN
PROVIDES ME WITH WISDOM. IF I DID NOT TAKE THE TIME
TO LISTEN TO HIM I WOULD NOT GAIN UNDERSTANDING OF
GOD'S MESSAGE THAT IS BEING SENT MY WAY THROUGH HIM.
PLEASE EMAIL ME AT D4IAMOND@AOL.COM
THIS IS MY DAUGHTER'S COMPUTER SO PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND
TO THIS ONE. MAY GOD TAKE THIS MESSAGE AND DELIVER IT
FOR DANNY'S CONTRIBUTION TO ENLIGHTEN THE WORLD.

The show is great, the actors are wonderful and somehow seem to compliment each others acting abilities.Their characters to my thinking must be extensions of the actors which play them.,because I have never seen any actor or actress play their parts so well.It is a show that after you have watched it, you think about what has been said in the programme.
Roma brings truth & honesty to her character,Della makes me roar with laughter and John is wonderful as Andrew,I have seen most of the series, but the one I remember the most was the 151st psalm. It absolutely broke my heart.John was outstanding in that episode,he was so caring towards the little boy "Petey". I don't suppose any of the cast get time to read these letters but just in case they do here is a message for John.
If you are ever in the UK,we are about forty miles from London in a place called Essex- Come and see us
we live in a small village and to my knowledge nobody has heard of Touched By An Angel so you would probably be safe, but if on the off chance someone spotted you I would send my little Lhasa Apso dog "Jack" after them
and he would probably lick them to death !!
God Bless all of you.

Well I wrote a poem.
ROSES ARE RED,
VIOLET'S A BLUE,
BUT GOD LOVES AND
IS ALWAYS WITH YOU.
Plus I wanted to thank the cast a crew for puting Touched By An Angel on TV. I don't know what I would do without the show. There have been times when I thought about killing myself, but when I started watching Touched By An Angel about five years ago. It reminded me that God put me on this Earth for a reason, I may not know why, but if he didn't want me on this Earth I wouldn't be here. So I think God gave these people the idea to do the show, so they can remind others of His love. On every Doll, pillow, quilt, peace of jewlery or Chirstmas ornaments. I always put the words "God Loves You." On them. So I can also remind others of Gods Love.

hi my name is tara. I wrote in here long ago but I have a poem which might interest you. This is what I think Andrew's Job is telling us...
I had lost my life, but I found my soul
I had lost my life and could not find my soul,
So I cried myself to sleep in a dark lonely hole.
When the Lord came down to lift me up,
He told me not to frown, and gave me a big hug.
The Lord said I was his precious little one,
So precious that he gave me his son.
He had died for you and I out of love,
And gave us great mercy from above.
You say you lost your life and could not find your sole,
So you cried yourself to sleep in that dark lonely hole.
Think those thoughts no more for I bring you good news,
I am your Lord, the one who loves you.

To the cast and crew of Touched By An Angel,
I am a ninth grader in Polk County, Arkansas, and I adore Touched By An Angel. I have been a fan of the show since I was about eleven, when I stumbled upon it one evening. I was immediately hit by the sense of peace the show invoked within me and have been watching ever since.
I came upon the show during a difficult time in my life, and it has helped me through that and many other trials. My family had just gone through a bitter custody battle in which my two younger sisters and I were forced to go live with our father and his wife. They were both very verbally and emotionally abusive, and I believe the only way the three of us kept our sanity was through the grace of God. I remember many times that my father’s wife would take out her Bible and tell my seven-year-old sister and I that we were “both liars, and the Bible says liars go to Hell.” Through your show we were all able to find healing and peace in the knowledge that God does love us, and that will never change.
My hobby is collecting quotes from Touched By An Angel episodes. I have over 250 of them now, and my collection is still growing. I attach the quotes at the end of all my letters and have found it to be an excellent way to reach friends that do not currently watch the show. My favorite quote is found in the episode “Fallen Angela” and says, "But all you need to know about the past is that, no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And it is this moment, right now, when you can choose to make everything new." It was this quote that helped give me the strength to forgive my father and his wife and put all of those years of torment far behind me.
My mother and two little sisters share my love for the show and its three stars. I must say that I am a huge fan of Roma Downey and her wonderful acting ability, but the show would not be complete if it did not contain Roma, Della, and John. And to Martha Williamson—Thank you so much for finally giving us a show that is spiritually uplifting (and that does not portray angels as dead human beings)! I hope to enjoy this show for many years to come.
May God Bless and Keep You All,
Rebekah Curtis
This show has helped me through some rough points in my life. I have been suicidal, and have gone through recent medical problems and the message that is carried always helps me to realize that God does love me, and that he has a plan and a purpose for my life. The show gives me so much encouragement and hope. The message of truth every week brings tears to my eyes. I have been personally touched by so many of the episodes that it is real difficult for me to pick a favorite. This is an inspirational show that does not go along with what the world has to offer. It reminds us of the One that we should put our faith in, and
even shows us the side of evil.

I enjoy "Touched by An Angel" and look forward to it every Sunday evening. Praise God for your writers! What excellent story-lines and fun acting!
My favorite character on the show is Andrew. He is simply the perfect angel! If only he walked the earth! (har har) John Dye's good looks bring Andrew alive all the more +
"Touched by An Angel" is changing lives. I love hearing how it brightens up my Grandmother's week. She accepted the Lord a couple of years ago and your show is a great conversational tool. Grandma also has a crush on Andrew! (It runs in the family)
Blessings ~

For the past few years,I have been watching
Touched By An Angel, and every week,it makes me feel
better. Two years ago,I tried to commit suicide and
on the anniversary of that date last year, something
truly special happened. I recieved an autographed
picture of Roma Downey. When I looked at the clock,
it was one year to the hour that it all happened one
year ago. I truly believe that I was Touched By An
Angel.Roma, you are truly a very special part of
the show.Della,you are funny,and full of wisdom.John,
you are in a way the show's clown.Touched By An Angel
has made a big difference in my life.

I have been watching Touched By An Angel with my mother for quite some time now. My dad died last year, and before then, my mother and I used to watch Touched By An Angel ALL of the time. After my father died, I hated God and everyone so much. I didn't understand why people had to die. I thought it was a punishment for my dad or a punishment for me because I haven't been perfect, but it took me a while to realize and understand death. Andrew helped me understand that. Ever since then, I've had such great faith in God and angels. A little while ago, I was raped. After that happened, I took my brother's shotgun, pressed it against my forehead, and was tempted to pull the trigger. But somebody or something was stopping me. I know it was God. It has been SO extremely difficult, but I'm so glad that I believe in God and that there is a show like Touched By An Angel to help me cope with the misfortunes in life. I have to go to court with the rape case in a week. Whether the cast of Touched By An Angel knows it or not, THEY are the ones that are helping me cope. And they, as well as God, are going to help me so much in getting through this trial. They will most likely never know how much they have helped me, but they will always be in my prayers, and I will never forget them.
Thank you, and God Bless.

Before I get into how much I Love the show, and how it has touched me... here is a little poem I wrote.
His Angels are Always There
By Tara Renae
Everyone has angels.
That means you, and that means me.
God promises they're there, you just can't see.
He keeps them disguised,
But I promise they're there.
Looking after you, with utmost care.
I promise they're there
When you are blue,
God sends His angels just for you.
They are all around you,
And wrap you with God's love,
Because they are His angels, sent from above.
To spread the message of His glory,
Martha Williamson made a story,
That God and His angels would always be there.
They come in the form of Roma, Della, and John
Sharing God's love that will never be gone.
And those angels, they are always there.
God bless everyone at the show,
Without you, I just wouldn't know
That God and His angels will always be there.

*Psalm 91* ~...And God shall send His angels down to take watch over you.

Well, there is my poem. If it sounds a little shaky, I'm sorry... I'm not a good poet. My name is Tara, and I just turned 18 years old. I have been watching your show for the past 3 1/2 years. I can relate with almost every episode, ranging from the loss of loved ones, sickness and disease, verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, anger, forgiveness, love, hate, uncertainty... the list could go on. It seems like I have dealt with every subject personally. It is very comforting to know that other people have gone through the same things as me. Though the people on the show are just characters, I know the circumstances are real for many people, including myself.
Having gone through so much at a young age, and even now with the memories and my disease, it's hard to make good, steady friends because they haven't had the same experiences, and can become afraid. But the show helps me realize that people are only human, and can be afraid of what they don't understand. And, I realize, most people my age aren't familiar with such horrible experiences. The show has helpes me open up to everyone, knowing that we all have had our share of the cruel and horrid parts of life, however small or large, as well as the wonderful parts, and knowing that we all have the same common bond. Life, and living. We all have to grow up, and live day to day knowing that we will sometimes fall, but we have to get right back up. I'm not saying it is easy. I have my days where I can have a nice pity party for myself and just sit and cry. But, we all have to pick ourselves right back up, and keep on keepin on.
Your show helps myslef and millions of people a week do this. When I had to stay home from school 2-3 months a year for the past three years of high school, longing to have one good friend by my side, I would just pop a tape of TBAA in the VCR, and there you go. Instant pick me up. There would be the lovely Roma Downey, Della Reese-Jones, and John Dye. The actors are perfect for the characters.. or should it be the other way around? Hmm... Well, I would always laugh from the motherly, but stern Tess, sigh at the handsome Andrew, and cry at Monica's revelation scenes. I lived each day to hear those simple words, "God loves you." And, I would instantly feel a little better. And the crying helped me release some of my emotions I had from that day anyway. =)
My favorite episode for the past two years has been Psalm 151. I LOVE Wynonna Judd, and her song "Testify to Love" lifts me up, and brings new hope and love into my heart everytime I hear it. I bought the TBAA Cd, to listen to the song, and fell in love with the rest of the songs. (And Roma, I listen to your Cd all the time also. Everynight, I fall asleep to it. Darkness can bring many bad memories, and your words help soothe me. Thank you for doing such a wonderful compiliation of work.)
Also, thanks to the show, I have committed my life to helping other people. I work closely with The Ronald McDonald House, and other charities. I am also trying to put together a flip calendar with inspirational quotes from stars, to sell in stores, and use all the profits to make more for children and people in hospitals around the country. I am hoping it will give them hope and faith to get through their difficult time, day to day. I also want to start an Adopt a Grandparent thing where people would go to their local convalescent home and visit one resident at least once a month. They lived their life, then are left with no one, and that just isn't right. They are still living, breathing human beings with souls, and deserve love and attention just like the rest of us.
Thanks to "Touched", I have decided I want to live my life helping (touching) the lives of those in need, doing whatever I can, and telling them that they are loved. Maybe I will work with the red cross, or some other worldwide organization. I'm not sure. I have always longed to be an actress, writer, teacher, or photographer, and I already have stories written, touching pictures taken, have worked at daycare, and my whole life has been one big drama, but I want to REALLY help people for a living. All of the above have possibilities of touching lives I suppose. Maybe I will do all of them. Hmm... do ya need a fourth angel? =) Keep your eyes peeled. I hope to do something fantastic before I am 20, so people will know who I am. I can then use my star power to get people more involved in helping people, and making the world a better place... like your show has done.
Thanks again to the writers. Thanks for coming up with the inspiring and touching stories.
Thanks to Martha Williamson for producing the show. You are an inspiration to every person because you took a chance away from mainstream TV, and went with something you really believe in.
Thank you Della... your witt and sense of humor always makes me laugh, and I look up to you as a mother figure... not just your character, Tess, but you as a person. I often imagine you standing in front of me, telling me to get off my tushee, and to push on. To get out of my pity party, and to do something about it.
Thank you John... your dashing smile, and ability to let people know just what they have to look foreward to always calms me. You convey your character with such peace, I know life after death will be serene.
Thank you Roma... your character is so enlightening, and so... there just aren't words to describe how amazing your performances are. You are like a big sis to me... sometimes like a mom. I have dreamt that in the hardest of times, you are there, not as Monica, but as Roma to comfort me, give me a hug, and remind me that God loves me, and to keep my faith. ANd, who doesn't love that accent?!!!
Thank you to everyone else who is part of the magic of Touched by an Angel. Each and every one of you is making a difference... wardrobe.. you keep our stars looking great, food services... you keep them fed and happy, cameramen & women... your abilities help us see the work of God every week, set designers... you help the angel experience flow with beautiful backgrounds, lighting crew... you help us view the actors as angels which helps the message become divine, and everyone else... Know that YOU make a difference. (Yes.. I know a lot about the making of shows.. it is very interesting to me. You get to pretend you are someone else, in a different setting. And you get to laugh and cry when people tell you to... Heaven!!!)
I know I'm barely 18, but I am inspired, and I am bursting with love, appreciation, and emotion to everyone who takes part in the show. I want you to know, you have made a difference in my life, and the lives of many others. God bless you all.
In Love and Light,
Love Always,
Tara Renae
For a number of years I have been watching Touched

picture of Roma Downey. Roma,John,Della,I love the
characters that you portray on the show. YOU ARE
ALL ANGELS IN MY OPINION.

I have been "touched" by virtually 98% of the episodes and there is a rare Sunday that goes by when I am not reduced to tears because something was said that really spoke to me or because I can literally feel the power of God's love flowing through the actors. I have heard many things that were tough to hear at the time; but the timing was such that I believed God was speaking directly to me, yet in that soft & gentle way that is always portrayed on the show. I have come to know God on a much different and deeper level since watching the show and I never walk away without taking something with me. I was extremely impressed with the show that aired last Sunday regarding the man who was demonized. Firstly, it took a lot of courage to address an issue that most people don't even want to acknowledge the existence of, and I highly commend you for that. Secondly, it was very powerful yet not in a frightening way. Thirdly, in a world where evil runs rampant and often touches everyone's life in some way or another, people need to be aware that they don't have to live in that kind of torment. There is always a way out and your show provides much hope and healing for anyone willing to really let God into their hearts and accept His love. I have learned to do that because of the warmth and caring expressed in every episode. Thank you is not even close to the gratitude I feel but it will have to suffice for now. I wish continued success for the show and offer blessings of unending peace, happiness, joy, and much love to all of you.

If only I could relate the amount of help that this show has given me. Not only has it entertained and enlightened, it has saved. I am seventeen years old, and the oldest of four/soon-to-be-eight, depending on how you look at it. My parents divorced about a year and a half ago, and my father remarried a woman with three children. Blending families is so difficult, anyway, but with the broad differences in our family and the miscarriage that happened soon after the wedding, emotions ran a bit too high. We had to move away from my home of ten years, and although no one died, I felt as if something had stopped living within me. I became depressed and angry, and there were a few times the thought of suicide entered into my mind. Fortunately, those thoughts left just as quickly. Watching Touched by an Angel helped me to remember the good in the world and the hope in life. I admire the actors so very much for all the good that they do, and I wish I had ten years!
to elaborate on my feelings. But it'll suffice to say that I love them and owe them so very much, and I pray that they will reap the blessings inevitably due.
