Remember the first time we ever saw Eric and Greta in the same scene together? It was in Salem Place at the Java Cafe. Roman, Billie, and Greta were having coffee together and Eric joined them. He sat down right next to Greta and they all chatted about the upcoming wedding of John & Marlena that evening. During the conversation, Eric also mentioned that it was over between him and Nicole, as Greta looked at him sympthetically. Eric and Greta didn't say anything to each other directly, but it was the very first time we ever saw them together in a scene.

Remember Eric and Greta's first scene alone? It was during John & Marlena's wedding reception. The guests began tapping their drinking glasses. Greta was confused and asked Eric what everyone was doing. Eric explained the custom of the guests tapping their glasses to signal the bride and groom to kiss. He asked Greta if they ever did that in Europe. She answered no but said it was a charming custom. They then began tapping their drinking glasses along with everyone else.

Remember when Eric, Greta, and Billie were playing pool at the Cheating Heart? Greta sat down at the table alone and was soon joined by Brandon Walker. He began hitting on her and Eric showed up, maybe a little jealous, and asked Brandon why he always ends up hitting on his friends. Brandon then introduced himself as Nicole's brother. Eric responded that he didn't know that Nicole had a brother, but it didn't really surprise him because she was really good at keeping secrets.

Remember when Eric and Greta took that stroll in the park? It was the first time they really communicated with each other. Greta confided in Eric about her past and her sadness about not knowing what had happened to her mother. Eric then surprised Greta by telling her that he wanted to help. They sat on a nearby park bench and talked a little more. Greta finally gave in and agreed to let Eric help her. They were all set to fly to Europe together. They shook hands and Eric called her "partner".

Remember when on that same day, Eric and Greta were at Salem Place? Eric told Greta that he was happy to be able to help her. She told him in return that if he ever wanted to talk about his problems with Nicole, she'd be there for him. She also thanked him for helping her and called him an amazing guy.

Remember when Eric and Greta were still at Salem Place and they were eating ice-cream? Greta told Eric about her time in the bayou. Things got personal when Eric asked her if she had ever been in love. She answered no but that when she was ready to say the words "I love you" - she would mean them. Eric believed her and said that she deserved someone who was as honest and innocent as she was. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and he hugged her.

Remember when Nicole saw that hug? She got extremely jealous of how close Eric and Greta were becoming. She confronted them and learned that they were heading off to Paris together. Yup, that girl was jealous!

Remember all those French lessons Greta gave Eric? The poor guy could never seem to put one phrase together! :) She got a good laugh out of it, though.

Remember when Eric and Greta had arrived in Paris and were having dinner at a restaurant? Eric was still having trouble with his French (he couldn't understand the menu) and Greta told him that she was going to show him all the sights in Paris. It would be her way to thank him for tagging along with her. When the bill came, Eric almost choked on his food when he saw that it came out to 265 francs. Greta laughed and explained to him that it was the equivalent to about 42 American dollars. Needless to say, Eric was relieved.

Remember when Eric and Greta were driving through the Paris countryside on the way to Chateau Des Reves? There was some major flirtation going on between the two. At one point, Greta's smile distracted Eric so much that he almost ran the car off the road!

Remember when Eric and Greta finally made their way into the "haunted" castle? They kept on hearing strange noises and the lights kept flickering on and off. Greta got frightened many times and continuously ended up having to jump into Eric's arms for comfort. Eric held her each time, though he was a little amused at Greta's ability to be easily scared.

Remember when Eric jumped out of nowhere in the castle and was holding a sword, just so he could scare Greta? It worked. He found it amusing but Greta was about ready to deck him.

Remember when Greta found that old letter addressed to her from her mother? After reading it out loud to Eric, she got saddened by it and began to cry. Eric kindly handed her a handkerchief. Greta then confessed that she didn't ever want to be in love. Eric asked her why and she responded that it was because she believed that love is what killed her mother.

Remember when Eric put a blanket over his head and tried to scare Greta by pretending he was a ghost? She started screaming at the top of her lungs until Eric finally revealed himself. He teased her and said that she would have to speak up now because he couldn't hear anymore.

Remember when Eric and Greta spent the night in the castle? Eric was going to sleep on the floor and Greta would sleep on the couch. However, Greta was really frightened of the castle so she layed down next to Eric on the floor and got under the blanket with him. Eric asked if she was sure about this but Greta told him that she wasn't looking for romance. She was just creeped out and didn't want to be by herself. She layed her head on Eric's chest and told him to hold her, which he did. They ended up sleeping together in each other's arms.

Remember when Eric and Greta were in Princess Gina's bedroom and they decided to play "dress-up"? Greta put on a beautiful gown and Eric was looking "dapper" (as Greta put it) in his tuxedo. They had some good laughs when they pretended to be people from a different time - listen to a sound clip. Later, Eric found an old radio, put it on, and he and Greta waltzed around the room.

Remember when Greta had just seen her mother face-to-face? She was so shaken up and tried to convince Eric that she saw her, but he told her that it was probably just a dream. He led her back into Princess Gina's bedroom, hand-in-hand, and he told her that when he thought his mother was gone, he would dream about her and that's probably what Greta did. He asked her if she needed anything and all she needed was him. He held her in his arms and told her that he would stay there with her all night long if she wanted him to.

Remember when Eric and Greta had a picnic in the French countryside? Eric packed them a picnic basket and they found a perfect spot to have their picnic. Greta asked Eric if she could have some of that chocolate she saw in the basket. He pulls them out and says she can...... but she'd have to get them away from him first. She accepts the challenge and they wrestle around a little, until they end up really close to each other. Close enough for a kiss.......
