Once upon a time, actually, the year was 1994 and Joshua was 21. He was attending Southeastern College and decided to participate in "Castle of the King" sidwalk sunday school. This particular day Joshua and two young boys about 5 years old were walking through one the project complexes in the city. They were doing a routine walk to invite kids to come out for the events. Everyone seemed happy to see them, parents and kids. But little did they know someone didn't like them there. Two young men, one with a broken bottle, the other with a steel pipe, proceeded to follow Joshua and the two boys through the apartment complex. Just then one of the boys, who was sitting on Joshua's shoulders, yelled out, "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Joshua turned around to see the two young men. Surprisingly enough, the two young men stood there for a second and stared at them. Then they wispered out, "we're sorry," and ran away the other direction. Joshua and two boys were reminded of God's great protection. Many other days did God protect Joshua. God watches out for us, even when we don't even know there is danger around us.
