Bensalem, Pa

The seating was awesome, the general admission seats were sold out shortly after going on sale but guess who had happened to get three? :) Yup..there was an area that seated about three-hundred people and we were really lucky to get such awesome seats..even tho we "sat" for what five mins? When HE struted out, we all RAN to the front of the stage, we can't even remember getting there to be honest :)
After driving for two hours to get to PA from NY the three of us flew into the parking lot at the State Fair on two wheels (literally) we had all been on the road since May 17th and we were tired and still had to drive back to Florida IMMEDIATELY after this concert at 11pm! UGH!! The trip was taking it's toll as you can see by this pic of Shan "losing it" in the car on the way home :) But, we were about to get yet another dose of RICK so, with our cameras (four rolls of film) camcorder (that we HAD to shut off) :( our 8x10 photo's (hoping to get signed) and CD inserts in tow, we, the "RICK TROOPERS" that we are, all RAN towards the Rick area that was playing Karma YIPEE!! When we saw we were lucky enough to get in the front row to the left of the stage. We saw some fellow onelisters and chatted with them for a few minutes when we heard ROVIANNE blasting through the speakers YEAH!! what a plesant surprise that was!! :) Needless to say the TRUE RLS Fans were smiling and rocking!
Soon after arriving, the infamous notes to "Affair of the Heart" filled our ears and out walked THE MAN in his "pleather" outfit, he soon shed the jacket though, and continued to jam through the usual hits and we all had a great time!! He came back out for the encore and played "Itsalwaysomething" then a couple more, but you could tell he had been on the road, in four different cities, in the previous 4 days working his cute little butt off and it showed (poor Ricky)...but all in all he gave everything he could that night and we took it, trust us :)
At the end of the show, we turned to Tra and said "Sooo Tra, this was your first Rick experience, what did you think?" to which he replied "forty-nine or not that man kick's a**!!" (add, yet another, male Rick fan to the list) Needless to say we never had to "ask" him to "let" us listen to Rick on the rest of the road trip home to Florida :)
After the show alot of the fans were waiting around on the off chance Rick might do some signing and/or pic's..Only select few got the honor of going back behind the scenes...Yet the "Rick Troopers" were determined to meet The Man, much to our dismay, he never did come out, but Jack White came out smiling and was ever so gracious and generously signed SO many CD inserts and pic's of the fans, he was very nice...and Jenn got a pic of he and I. Then we both even got hugs from him!! He was, we think, thrilled by all the attention he got that night :)
Since we didn't get to meet Rick, we, with much heavyheartedness, were disappointed because this was our last chance to do so, seeing as this was our last concert in the forseeable future. So we poked back to the car to take the long dreaded 2,000 mile journey back to our Rickless home state of Florida.
