I can only assume that Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie took place in an alternate dimension. In this universe, six teenagers wear plated armor in battle against foes such as Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. However, when Ivan Ooze proves too powerful for their Morphin' powers, the Rangers journey to Phaedos to earn the might of the Ninjetti, and ultimately the Great Power itself. The Great Power searched within each warrior, fashioning armor and Zords inspired by their Spirit Animals.
