Hi there! This page is the official SMA website. SMA stands for Shadrach Meschach and Abednigo, a Christian medical student group in Perth, Western Australia that began in 1992. Since then, we have opened our doors to dentistry in 1999. This year we have included pharmacy, nursing, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy students in our larger events with more to come!
We have regular 1st and 2nd year meetings at UWA, and 3rd year meetings at QEII. We also have camps, dessert nights, the SMA dinner, community outreach and heaps of other Christ-focussed activities.
If you are a healthcare student, and are either a Christian or are interested in Christianity, then SMA is for you.
