Born: October 10, 1967

Mike left his band in Texas, called the Careless to join the Goo Goo Dolls, (of which he was a huge fan), in 1995, replacing George Tutuska. He sometimes writes reviews for ALLSTAR Magazine.

Mike on band names, "I think names of bands sorta become okay once people know the band...I mean there are all sorts of silly names you don`t think that are silly...I mean what do people think of the Beatles? That1s a pretty silly name if you think about it."

Mike on their music, "Robby`s stuff is more sort of manic...Basically you have to push it harder. I think of them in two different ways, when we do Robby`s stuff I kinda play along and bring everyone with me...where with John`s stuff...I kinda sit back and let one in the pocket and get a groove thing going on."
